Post traumatic

Its amazing to think that as some memories return is spits and spats that I can see only the maids neck and that is much more sensual than, from what I remember, at times totally nude women! Why do I get that thought. Is it more or less clothes or where are they coming from. I feel comfortable in this dress and the attire, as covering as it is, of the maid. But it also feels like I am wearing a costume and on stage. The maid is speaking and I am miles away. “ I shall pick up your dishes when you ring the bell”,she says a little more rushed. Still flushed as she turns and scampers out the door. I guess my gaze lingered too long of her color tinged neck. Sigh. A discordant, buzz, buzz, buzz from my book of novelties and mysterious mysteries is requesting my attention again. Pulling up the cart and lifting lids, Tea… ahhh…. and sit and book and I could love this….

An unfun morning. Part of the job. Made the remainder of the day suck hard. I did get more work done though. items came in and were put aside for later and a stand for a printer came in. I also was able to locate a description off accountable property and now I can see what goes on and what does not. I like that kind of firm information. I have to correct a few things but no worries there. Now the coming days have more logical processes. other than trying to not grind my teeth all day long its been quiet.

I didn't do much of anything last night with photographs. Just was not in the mood and far too tired to do a good job on anything anyways. so I will see if I can find something works showing you today. If not it may be silly pictures from the internets. Or not....

Leaning into the Nonwind.
Bowed you can almost feel like your under them. Balloons are amazing to be near. The are beside you but like huge willow trees they are above you and over your head. All the pictures in the world cannot show you that.

 Moonglow
The moon was large and I liked how it cut through this tree. Pictures of the moon are everywhere.. Pictures of the tree are not.

The Breezy Stretch
Fooling around with the skew. I liked how it came out.

Fabric to Fabric.
Another skew and pull. Some folks are worried when balloons hit each other or rub fabric. Its all safe and normal. Just like beach balls we bounce off each other. The only time you get to worrying is wicker to fabric. Then you can have problems. Not major but can do damage.

Those were fun. I am still learning how to work Photoshop. Watching lots of tutorials.
What I need is one on one with an instructor.

I have to swat up on a lot at work still too. Much to know. Little time to learn and retain it.

Links...links.....l   i   n     kssss

Hamburger. I have always looked it as a list.. sigh

Bumper stickers need to be regulated. Only funny ones.

The crossing of reality and indelible unreality. That that has been seen cannot then be unseen.. You have been warned.

Because I need some humor is a humorless or less day...

Off to sit with the dog and get a cuddle.

Squeek Squeek Squeek!

Tap Tap Tap... at my door "enter please' I say out loud as I snap the book closed. Turning in my chair slightly I can see the door open fully and the maid rolling a food cart into my room. I know its a food cart because I can smell the food.... sigh. As usually she is quiet, cute and quick. "I've brought your normal tea per your standing orders sir." She says in one quick statement. No words, Eyes never meeting mine for more than a second and now a blush is creeping slowly up her delightfully creamy throat. Coughing into my hands back. "Thank you again, is the preparations for the morning been take care of?" "Yes sir, all according to your request. I will wake you at 6am for your bath and breakfast and right down at 8am." Ah, good. "Thank you again my lady, well done." Her eyes hit mine for the slightest second at that "My Lady". Ahh....

Interesting. Sunday and got a bunch of things done along with a family dinner. Smoked pork chops and mash taters, corn and cherry pie! Also carrot cake as it was the sons birthday .. well Tuesday. I have removed a television off the wall and its almost ready to go up in a different location so I can remove the huge tv that's been lurking on my hearth for years. Good things. Minimization and cleaning up. I have to get some cement holders for the screws as its going up on a brick wall. The I have to buy some paint and start painting. Well I have to do some spackling and wood puttying first.

For photographs today I find that my annual fee is due to Zenfolio soon. Meh. Its a good web site. I fiddled with a few more shots and had some fun with them. I did do two, three shot panos of a storm that slide past the office last week. They turned out nicely. I want to do a lot more of those.

Old time Rock and Roll.

The pano's are huge! You can zoom into the street signs and they are still not pixalized! Amazing!

I used to work on mag tape drives. I learned how to run them and fix them. The testing for fixing them was very novel. Watching one spin tape at high speed onto the floor is a lot more freaky than this.

Winging it!

As I watch with furrowed brow, right up, left down the page just clears. Just a blank softly blue page now. Okay, am I getting a return message or are we back to square one with blank pages throughout the whole thing. flipping one back it still has a poem on it. Flipping back...Ah.. slowly letters are appearing one by one. I   a   m  n   o   t   t    h   eT he  bbooook    n     a    m   e    I    a    m   na    m   e  c    a    l    l    e    d i    n    t    e    r   f    eee   rrr  e  r  n  cc e ee e  n  a    mm    me    see   n     tin   naaaaaallll.....
And the page blacks back to blue and the Poem come drawing back as the other letters fade. Wild! Not a book? Looks like a bloomin book to me.. maybe it thinks its an elephant or rabbit but it looks like a book to me... Stretching out my hand holding the book and turning it this way and that.. yup... looks like a book to me.

Got out of the house today and over to the other side of town. Traffic was sucky or I should say there were some sucky drivers on the road. Who drives down a 65 mph highway in the middle lane doing 55. You are asking to get wacked. What is going through someones head. "Oh.. Ill be safest right in the middle of all these rushing vehicles." Yeah that must be it. Never mind the idiots. Went over to Uptown which is pretty new and very well kept and wandered around. Nice, overpriced but nice. Visited the Apple store to look at their Air Minis. Nice. I took the camera with me and shot off some pics everywhere we went. Even went to a antique store quickly. Also took some off shots of my sons crazy truck.

When we were back to the house it was dump groceries, clean up, take a television off the wall and then sat down to dump and edit the pics. Not too bad. Some nice. Some meh. Some worth messing with. I did one with a border I think I like... all below..

Fonts of tomorrow!

Why would I want to forget my name. Why, why why! What would cause me to want to forget everything? Well, right in front of me is a possible conduit even if I am talking to a book that write me back quickly. Funny book of poems. Okay. First things first. Quietly as I sit my fronts back in a chair before I fall down, "Book! How can you do what your doing and do I call you book, poem book, the book of irrational insanity? What? Watching the page, The poem lettering is bleeding off the page. Trickling down to the bottom.

Pretty fun day at work. I must have been an accountant in a past life. I do like making excel forms of numbers and numbers and calculations and more numbers. I have four just for one thing. One is a list of purchases, one is a list of purchases aligned with its task, one is a list of things to purchase aligned with the purchasee and task, and the last one is a list of computers in the office and which are super old and need to be replaced. I did that one today. I also created a connection diagram for a matrix multiplexer system for our situation awareness displays. Its awesome and very techy. A good day..

On the photography line its been poopy. I want to go shoot but its either too windy or too dusty outside to get anything. Maybe tomorrow I will go out and balloon with friends and then get some pics taken. I did go back over some car shots and clip them for multi monitor size. Just a few at this time. Still have to figure out the border thing.. so.. here check these out.

All but the 350 are clear enough for a large screen set up. I have to do some for three screens. There are some good programs that will allow you to control two or three screens at a time and spread across them. I do every use standard wallpaper on my computers. I like to use my own. Its more fun and I find them much more interesting. Now off to get some links and then eat...

Down The Burque

What the hell's bells does that mean… I shout at the book ( sounded like a good idea to me ) Why wouldn't I want to damn well know! HAH! Take that book! Wiping the spit off my chin and trying to focus my rage filled eyes on the book that I seem to be trying to tear apart. Its not tearing and I am not doing any damage to it at all… but it feels good! I notice through my clearing eyes that larger single letters are fading in below the others.

B E C A U S E Y O U W E R E T H E O N E T H A T W A N T E D T O F O R G E T E V E R Y T H I N G ! ! ! DO NOT YELL AT ME!

Buckeye!  One of my eyes feels like its been wide open and not blinking and the other is swinging this way and that. must be all this staring at the computer screens all day that did it. Walleye. not that bad. Running my third Excel spreadsheet up. Completed it too! Now except for some minor items I plan on locking down tomorrow I am ready to rumble next week. Hopefully the decisions will be made early so I can get things moving. The faster they move the faster I can put this  to bed and start cleaning out the old drawers and files. So much side work to do.

I cranked on some more shots for color and width. Its a lot of fun when comments come back that a shot reminds me or spring or that I feel like I am there in that shot. That's what I like. I also like it when I am asked for shots as that's why I do this mostly. I am going to be selling my polars after they get in frames. The five I processed came out so well I want to do more and get them ready to sell. I have to work on the framing borders next. that's tonight. For now.. here are some more of the colorized wide’s.

Flux

What the heck is it now. I requested mundane items! Yanking out the book O' poems and feeling it vibrating like the pocket watch did leaves me completely uneasy. Putting it out away from me and opening , slowly opening the cover, the vibrating stops. Page one, no changes there. Page 2, nope. Page three is.... well that's is novel. The text of the poem is in a black ink but slowly behind it there seems to be a flowing cursive not unlike a broad nib fountain pen slowly drawing out letters! The ink seems to be a very light almost invisible blue. If I make this out correctly, You have a name.....Do you want to know it? Think carefully...

Plans made, Preparations set in motion, Maps and directions are being worked on as we speak. It was a good day, Big fluffy clouds at dawn followed by brisk winds and long bobbling clouds of grey, blues, and whites. Many things done today. Many things to do. I have to say that this is making things go swiftly past. Time is racing. I am kind of happy with that. I do and don't want the time to pass. SO many of the things I want to do are in the category of.. 1 I don't want to do them. 2. I want to do them but it takes too much effort. And 3. I want to do them but no money for it yet. So hurry slowly, plod along quickly, wash your gum boots.

Below you will find some shots I wanted to show. Nothing spectacular. I did notice that one of the photographers I watch always borders his shots and titles them and put his name on them. I might try that. It might be fun. Now that I have some things done I can hopefully start working on two other projects. I have been getting caught up with creating crazy facebook banners and icon or profile pictures. Ill show you the one I did last night. I will think on the next one.

A pat on the head.

CLICK HMMM CLICK CLICK….the stem is dropping into itself I think. Another roll of my thumb and forefinger and click again. Peaking down past my chest to my hand I can just see that there is a little ridge not level with the surface of the side. The humming has stopped and the silence is eerily closing in. An explosive POP from the fireplace causes me to jerk my hands and my head snaps to look at the fire. I can feel my thumb slipping off the round bump, explosive, grenade? egg timer? And off goes the pressure and up swiveling the gearing comes in almost dance like clockwise and counterclockwise directions. The lamp light catching in the cuts and ridges and they rise up and assume their position. What and why does that remind me of a music box? All is back to the way it was except….except the book seems to be pulsing along with my heartbeat…. Can we please have mundane things stay in their mundane places!

T t t tttttttuesday trippings. The animals are loosed. The growl, caper, dance and scurry away and around. My worry of yesterday has now become a bit calmer and preparations have been completed. even if there is a modification or addition to the plan it is now easily adjustable.  That's why I created the spread sheets. I can cross reference them against the other lists and be pretty close to the correct totals. I would say I was having a very good time except for this headache from clenching my teeth.  Now everything is pretty much ready and I can set that down for the time being and get onto other important tasks.

I am not sure what I am going to play with tonight. I am not sure what would be interesting. I am sure I am not sure. I will leave this here until later. I do think since I have a request from a good artist friend for some shots for a project that I will go do a hunt. Then show you what I find and why I think they will work for the project. I said I would go get specific shots if needed ( I was going to use that as a prod to get my butt outdoors ) but at this time its not necessary.  I may try and fake myself out though. Slight off hand and all that. now or the prowl and hunt just as tigers are apt to do… though I should probably take off my bunny slippers first. They squeak.

I do know that we talk slowly. I also know that if I want to enjoy a book, ramming it into my ears at a fast clip will have me turning it off.

Ah yes. I hate giving speeches and I have a tendency to wing it. But I do like talking.. hahahaha

Because laughing is good for you…

Life in the universe that we occupy. probably and no.. I am sure their status is… don't call us, we’ll call you….. in a while.

I can only relate it to if your advanced from us you probably consider us on the level of pet. If your the same level or slightly higher you have to worry about our inability to control our base aspects. If your the same your have more worries. If there is advanced life out there and they are as aggressive as we are we are pretty much toast. I will bring the marshmallows.

Red Tape.

Pretty sophisticated pocket watch for the 1800's. Feels like heavy vibration. Pushing the stem in does not open the case. Rolling the three separate winding sets causes no change at all. Who owned such an expensive watch. Somewhere in my leaky head a can remember that if you lost a pocket watch there was usually a five guineas reward for any information leading to its recovery. I hope this hasn't been stolen! I can feel my fingers rolling the heavy thick shape in my hand. If I close my eyes and let my fingers just play there. Rolling, spinning, touching. Just standing there in almost a calming, limp and relaxed stance, letting both arms drop while still letting my fingers toy with the rollers. I feel a tick when I slide my index finger over the top roller...hmmm....

A day and a half for a mon monday. Yeah... a half more and I was only there for 6 of 8 hours. Had to take the son to the dentist. All good as the dentist is my dentist and the best dentist in the state of New Mexico.
But prior to that it was lots of conversations about regulations and procedures and the like. How can I get anything done when I have to get through the red tape before being able to act. I want to act now. I want it done. I want happy people. I want them able to expand their abilities and I want to help them do it. So come on! Let loose the hounds of shopping!!!

After getting out of the dentist, which was cool cause the Dentist and the group there are so cool, we drove to get meds and dinner fixings. Home and dinners done. I ran through some old shots to see if they would work with tilt shifting... yes they will. Here are some.....

It would be very cool if we could get from Los Angeles to Vegas to Albuquerque to Denver to Kansas to Chicago to New Your via monorail. It would be a start. It would not block road traffic as it would go over it. It would be awesome.

Meh. With the amount of tagging going on in London the need for that to be stopped by stopping the taggers and covering over their "art" as soon as possible ( within 6 hours ). I know its expression and most of it is.. but there is a time and a place..... Plus if they did it where it was preserved and also had what the artist was tying to convey there it would be much cooler.

The little things / Knits for pets.

I thought fireplaces were supposed to have secret passages or vaults or at least a spider or two. None, nada, no way. Wonderful mantle, firebox, candle holders of silver by the chop on the bottom. No dust, no fingerprints, nothing familiar. Looking closer at the clock, sliding my fingers across the grain and over the wave of the top. Very solid and familiar. Damn! From excitement and chasing to sitting in a  room that is far to neat. Far too quiet, far too made up. Pulling out the smaller pocket watch, thumbing the dial to open the face, beautiful workmanship and about 40 years older by the local date. Almost in sync to the mantle clock and ticking almost in syncopation to it. 4:55. Five minutes to five. Closing the cover in another seemingly practiced move and it plops into the pocket easily. The other pocket watch, larger and heavier drops into my hand. With more detail and designs everywhere. Its rather thick with spirals and whorls. The watch winding bauble is thick, multi leveled and very smooth and rotating freely in three different segments, Very complicated. Very funny, Its pulsing!

Sundays are always a melancholy and stress inducing day. Going in waves from calm to hyper to freaky to calm again. Why.. who the heck knows. BUT! But I did get things done. The computer room is cleared and now even the closet is cleared. There are items on the floor that I have to figure out where to locate and there are some other things that either need to be trashed or transferred. I also got the cabinet in the living room set right. Now to get the stereo set up. Then it will be back to the comp room to remove the tv from there and install that in the dining area removing that tv which will go to charity or craigslist, Clearing the chaff. Cleaning the furrows... hahaha.. No.. the back yard has yet to be touched. Can I get someone to do that for me? I would make a great house husband.

I was able to edit one more sign set. It was not the clearest or brightest or best shots to use but that is what I had so that is what I used. For all that it turned out nicer than I thought. Ill post it below with the signs I used. I also found my flight tracks from last Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta. Seven days of fantastic flying. I took a clip of the flight lines from the north to the south. It shows my launches and five tracks heading somewhat south. Two were north and towards Rio Rancho. They may look a little freaky but they are very gentle loops and lifts and drops. One of the best Fiestas barring 2008. Well here is what I played with today.

Emerald Coors.

Montano & Coors at Sunset.

Montano Deeper.

Balloon Flight Fantasy.
Considering that each line except the red and brown one were over an hour it was some slow fun flying. The purple and green were South then up into the North wind and to the river, in the river and out seven more miles to Rio Rancho.

Tiger by the toe.

Wall paper smells pretty new, not mildewed or moldy or smoke tinged. Heavy drapes which are quite heavy and thick are also unadulterated by any smells and feel crisp and new. sliding them aside slightly on the left side between the wall and curtain and what looks like normal windows, leaded and single pained, counting 16 lights or panels. A simple hasp in brass. Touching the glass with two fingers, its cold to the touch. withdrawing and feeling the fabric towards the other window, nothing unnatural if not unused. The other window is as the other, getting a quick peek outside shows only fog. More fog. Nothing in these curtains either. That leaves me waling around the chair and towards the fireplace and mantle. On the mantle is a standard clock, Westminster chimes if I can automatically put a name to the quarter chimes. Dark walnut stain and smooth, Silvered face with painted numerals. 4:45. Twelve chimes. Da da da da, da dum de da, de dum da da....

Come Saturday morning.... A slow morning. When your under the weather its hard to get started. It hard to get up, its hard period. But after dropping the feet onto the carpet and shuffling off to the coffee machine, splattering water, coffee, milk and sugar close to the cup, well, It was enough that the next cup was made better. Today was a waffle day ending with a pizza. Oven baked and not too harsh for my poor achy self. It was good. See if the stomach will stay quiet. I did have to go down to the store quickly to get supplies. I had to see the loonies that were out. Many. I did stop and got a few shots of signs. Not great due to the overcast but oh well.

I did a bunch of furniture moving even feeling like garbage. I just could not sit still. I removed the last table from my computer room and moved the computer displays to the shelf unit. I installed their mounts back and they work great as standing work centers. You could pull up a chair if you wanted. I will be replacing the wired keyboards with wireless units. I found some for 23 dollars and I picked up one to test it. Great. Its at work until my wireless one comes for work. It all looks great. I have even removed the chairs and swapped out the living room two with the one's from the computer room. Not sure if they are going to work out yet. The room is cleared and ready for a queen sized bed to be installed for the upcoming Fiesta. Since I can do everything from my surface now its quite unnecessary to waste the space. A few other things also to do.. like repaint the walls and paint the floating shelf I put in there at last. When done it will be very nice. Here are some pictures.

Wonderful work table when I bought them. I gave one to my brother to simplify the room and now this one will go on craigslist as soon as I have time.

Computers set up and running.

Playing with the video on my S4 with one of my videos on line.

You can see the angle of the displays. It works great standing up. They can flip forward just fine or almost flat.. Also they have integrated speakers...which I never used till now.

Me laying on the floor resting while Izzy ( in cone as she was scratching too much ) sits in the chair which will also be going on Craigslist. Nagal, pins and banners behind.

One of the chairs we moved out of the living room. Good condition but the foot rests are fussy. Craigslist they go if we like the ones from the computer room.

My wallpaper I created from a picture a dear friend sent me with my balloon where I would love to fly it.
Its just beautifully beautiful.

Here are some of the few links. Most of the links today were copies of other sites... pretty pathetic.
