Super long day.... not bad.. but long

Well.... drove around a lot. Plans.. Items to look at to fix up the house. Got the list. Looks like nothing will happen this weekend...too many things to do in the morning to have time to get the other things done. But... The plans for the 4th weekend are set... I think... Its even looking pretty ugly weather wise outside right now.

So.. that got done...

But super tired now....

So since I was busy doing "things" now its time to do a little blogging..  I did some editing for dual screen or double pictures.. They came out well I think... Now to get them in a file... with others.. then decide which ones I want to print and put up on the wall.... that's the very hard part...

Here are the thermostats to the AC units that caused me so much trouble last night... turns out it was a pressure switch to the blower that was bad... not that I could have fixed it or replaced it or even had one...

The AC guy did... its fixed.. both AC units are working.. and the radar is cool...and running... or... as we say.. TURNIN AND BURNIN!

Was that not fun!

When it gets just too damn hot

My plan today was get some studying done. Complete two on line courses and get some filing done.

Never happened!

From having to run up to the radar because its Air Conditioners were tripping off. Went out there...met the AC guy.. he said it all looked great...

Yeah....

So after doing a lot of things that got me no closer to my courses nor filing what I needed to get filed I was pretty exausted. I figured...since I was behind and it would take hours to get back to speed I decided to head home.

WRONG!

Radar AC uni no 2 was down... had to drive up to the site to reset it... thought.. oh.. quick flip.. good to go.. No... inside temp 95 degrees... AC units freaking out... go outside after trying to cycle them to reset a breaker.. turn too fast and wanged my head right into the side of the other unit.. Now I have this nice golf ball sized bump on my head.. and the AC units wouldn't come up and stay up. So after talking to a bunch of people and the inability of the AC repair guys to be able to come look at the units until tomorrow it was decided to shut the radar down until tomorrow when the AC guys can come out and do a complete check and service on both units... also find out why one compressor wouldnt flip on after a full reset.

Fun huh.... I am super irritated for two reasons.. one... main one.. I had to shut the radar off... two... I banged my head so hard I have a severe headache going on now.

Tomorrow... well.. I am hoping I can get some answers tomorrow... because there are some good questions in my head. These AC units are underpowered and dont work.. I know thoose answers... The big one I have is.. why when you shut one off does the other say its off... and vica versa... Big Question.

Since I was clearing out the house a bit.... that meant that there were a lot of old Video Tapes to go through. I put away the family ones that I am not sure have been copied to DVD yet. I don't know if I have the ability to do so. Going to have to look into it I do have a few of my favorites... Call me a romantic..

Captian Nemo and the City under the sea. Its a very old one .. and made prior to the one with James Mason.

If you look at the pictures you will notice a trend... but these I have yet to put away.... in the trash... sigh..

I used to go to great lengths to number and label them... all for naught now.. all good for nothing now.. what does that say of DVDs? What does it say of the computer version of a music file? Sigh.. all for naught.

Too tired.. dont care

I feel like I have been staring at a computer screen too much. Today more than any day I just want the thing off. In fact the screen right now is off to my right and not in my direct view. im typing without watching at all. Is this burn out? Feels like burn out. 

Today was study,read,type,study,frustrate,backup,growl,email...and so on. 

So you get outtakes from Saturdays ballooning flight... 

Yellow fan with throttle on bar. Used for cold inflating balloons.

 

 Carabiner hole on corner of Cameron burner frame. Lines from the basket up to the burner frame go on each side of the hold and the carabiner goes through all of it to lock it together.

 

THis is the crew and Pilot(s) with upright poles in sockets walking in a circle because the had the burner backwards... ring around the rosy...

 

 This is the bee.. I presume its because it helps the balloon fly?

 

 This is the Pilot putting fuel in the fan so it will start... Been there done that.

 THese are Ball Instruments. They have a temp sensor in them and a line that runs to a sensor in the top of the balloon to show the temp up there... very important.

 This is a tie off line. Used by all the best Pilots to keep their balloon from taking to the skies prematurely. This is a good way to tie off. Never tie off to a trailer. Always use one. Never leave home without it.

I too tired!

Alarm went off this morning.. had my phone in my hand... was almost going to bag it and stay right where I was..... glad I didn't.. but I am paying the price.

Fred did his Solo flight and got doused in Campaign.  Tons of pictures.. but no time nor ability to process them today. If I tried I would probably just pass out as I feel like doing now.

Mary cooked up a nice chicken dinner with red, yellow and green peppers...very tasty... not definitely not ..helping my stay awake mode. Pretty much no caffeine at all today... not a drop. I can feel it.

So .. while I was trying to hang on till dinner I did some tone mapping of some pictures I had tucked away.
