Easter Edition.. Lucky.

It was a good Easter.

Spent with the Granddaughter, which is pretty perfect. If we were up with the parents it would be great too but that was not possible so i will take what I get.

There was a first even mini Easter rally launch thing but I saw that it was going to suck weather wise and decided to not even think about it. Not that the body would have let me. From one episode of running cables in the attic I thrashed my thighs for five days. So no... It was better to sit with Emily in my arms and watch the changes in her face... she is working the eyebrows, nose, smiling, frowning stuff real well. Patturns Highperactive will have to get out of her bad here soon.. like at the next AAAA rally in Rio Rancho.

The week was a short one and of most interest was the need for clarity and request for information. We will continue to endeavor and try to do what needs to be done and try to get it right as best as possible.. and carry on....always carry on.

Got some good shots this last last of balloonings but not much else... Posted below.

So I lean Right.... sorry.

So much for the short week and less of the getting things done. On the lighter side... I did download the mechanist, the first DLC of Fallout 4 ilk. It was fun. It didn't take as long as I expected but I also expect it was geared for the level 30 to 50 not the 100 to 110. I got a kick out of being able to create your own robot companion. I upgraded the heck out of the main robot and have made only one other... which was pretty ok. I did also upgrade a few settlements as they were being attacked by many more harder to kill enemies.... It is also better to overseen the gun positions take them out than getting down there with them and accidentally kill a settler and turn the whole settlement against you.. seriously off putting... Also... wood is still abundantly everywhere but very hard to buy.. silly.. still having enemies popping up INSIDE of ten foot thick thirty foot high walls.. very silly... Now they are showing up IN walls... super silly. Impossible to ring Jamaica .. just impossible...though sunshine coop is done and so is egrets after some serious work.

So fun.. Taking a break.

ADA 5.0 Laser everything, Armor Armor..and Tesla leggings.

Red X-01 VII armor... armor armor armor... woooo.... Still missing the right leg of this last suit.

Sanctuary surrounded by walls. Stupid raiders tried to deal with this by walking through them.. didnt work well.

The best and fastest way to get caps and get stuff.. like WOOD.. is get water. Lots of water.

Seeded or farming Murkwater.. massively.. that and Egrets and Sanctuary and wherever I can put a bunch of generators and water filtration systems... Kicks butt.

Stumbling along a hiway I found another set of T-45 armor without its helmet. No problem.... Lots of spare parts and I needed the frame for some T-60 armor. So.. off it goes.

After transferring some settlers from the 20 level settlements to Egrets and the Coop I parked myself at the Red Rocket Cube.... Ill give it a break for a while.

Go get the DLC.... Oh... if you have the PC version and your modding the heck of it.. cause you can on a PC.. try the Xbox version.. its a mother sister to build things and get it to sit right... I think Bethesda needs to set up some of the mods that are being created out there for the xbox... So easing on where I can put a cement foundation would be nice... No.. I do not want to cheat the game but if I cant put a foundation on a twig of wood.. that is stupid...

Nuff said.. Its still fun....

Intensive Training

I could try and quantify the week but it's not worth my time nor yours to list anything as mundane as that. I could say, Registration for the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta.. the mega super premo Hot Air Ballooning event in the world!...Of which we were accepted within the week.. woo hoo..

Yep! It's never a sure thing and with only 500 slots open ..kinda.. its fantastic when you get that notice. Soooo... snaps off a thousand thoughts about everything... from, paperwork still needed to be sent, annual inspections, family and friends coming in, food, passes, logistics of just getting people to and on the field, fuel, rides, weather, maps, insurance, cards, pins, and it keeps going....

Foolish me.. I posted a new facebook banner which I put the countdown date from the AIBF.org page.. so then I was cornered about doing a daily countdown banner.. Thats 194 days of new banners!! Again!!! Dunno if I can do it. Crazy. See.... Plus I got permission to use my granddaughters very mobile and emotive face in some..LOLOL

Soo.........

And along with the banner I really have to do the logo too... so....

and today...

My daughter thought I could batch a bunch and then I wouldn't have to do them every day but I really never have the idea for each until the day it is. Fun huh.. So I am screwed but it is gonna be another interesting ride..... woooooo....

I did get two other videos done... lots of fun there....

http://InvisibleBlack.zenfolio.com/p715442282/e7fd7d200

I had to search the web for the POSH song but it was worth it for what was in fact and Port Out Starboard Home flight.. Take off Fiesta fiend.. go a little South.. Go up.. Go North, drop back down and go back South and land almost right where we took off from.. awesome as all get out.

Had to take a break there to hold my granddaughter... she wanted to snuggle and sleep...and smile.

Worth it!

Had a great day... Party over at Bob and Inga's which was a occasion for happiness and raised spirits including the grand daughter who got lots of holds by Shana... she was loving it and Emmy was all happy too. It was fun.. it was a good time as usual. Thanks Bob and Inga.

Other than the standard.. and I did try to take notes on the accomplished at work but it gets too busy to write more things down..... oh well...

Fallout 4 is still fun.. ish... I am tired of having settlements attacked from inside when there is no way anyone could get in with guards and gun positions and ten foot think twenty foot high walls... quit cheating.... That and attacking two settlements at the same time... come on! I don't mind that you throw twelve attackers.. no problem... or warlord class..... whatever... quit with the silliness.

There was a patch out which added some stuff but most of it was very stupid too. I am waiting for some better mods to correct some of the build zones and the massive lack of wood. There are trees everywhere but wood is scarce.. I don't think so.

Oh.. there is one place to steak armor but its forever tagged stolen so I use it to mount raider power armor.. sat outside the place for a while waiting and the game kept glitching so had to loop around and try a different attack to see if I could catch the glitch before it removed the armor.. got it but it was a pain.

I am upgrading and updating settlements for better gates and adding flooring over the uneven and silly ( again ) ground terrain problems... Yeah its real world but its everywhere to the point I believe the designers just got bored and wanted to irritate as many people as they could.

Yes I am still playing...

The latest thing  is that every settlement ( 24 total ) gets their own set of power armor. All identified by the four lumin sets. If I need a set it is at the closest settlement...minus the fuel cell so it isn't "borrowed".

No.. they are not taken from the 101 sets at my Red Rocket Cube.....

I did get a nice new ( now ) set of X-01 III armor. Kept having to go back to Atom Cats to get each piece.. and that was a royal pain too.... Only one place to get that armor pieces.

Still fun...

Now to go upload some more screen shots.

Brisk Windages

Um,

Yeah.... no idea what I did this week.... Lots of things.. tiny things.

What I do know is my Grandaughter has the funniest, cutest sneeze and cough. plus she is already giving me grief behind her pacifier. Grumble, grumble, grumble..... and boy can she give a look.

Most of the week was general work related and the tiredness of the whole thing. No, its all good but its the commute and people ( I use that term loosely ) on the roads at the same time. I use blinkers, I drive in the left lane only when overtaking, and I pay attention... most here do none of those things but do, eat, read, talk and text on their phones causing them to be total ASSES. Yeah.

This Sunday there was an Albuquerque Aerostat Ascension Association meet on Fiesta park. I didn't know if I was going to make it but I did. Even with the time change. The winds were ... interesting.

Since the winds were ... different... Pfred took on the onus of Hare and took off with the target. That's that white thing. One leg of the X. He had to fly for about 30 or so minutes then land.. lay out the X and all the other balloons had to get to where he set it out.. but... they couldn't go hot until he left the ground.. which made it so much more .. novel.

Quite a few balloons did in fact take off and chase him and they did get somewhat near the target, but I stayed on the field as long as I could to get some shots of the balloons that had not taken off yet.

I did make it to catch Bob out of the air and spin him around to land the right way wind wise. I did in fact hurt my shoulders seriously enough that all of my plans went out the window. But it was fun.

Here are a few of the more fun shots with the 10.5 lens.

A fun lens to work with.

I did get four videos run. Not great but good enough to post... the links are below.

I have many more to go.

Fallout 4 just had their first patch. What it patched seems to have caused some interesting problems.. mostly people popping in or out around me. The adds were not worth the time. Where I wanted more places to buy wood and a little bit more ability to build thing without running into problems setting things down ( it really sucks ) they added crap like mutant stuff that I will never use.. I don't know whow ould use it.. its beyond me why you would put cages in a first patch.. who cares.. I want more floors, walls, windows, and the ability to remove or repair destroyed houses.. I mean.. if I can build walls of cement and wood I should have the ability to rebuild. Some fun shots of my week in F4.

Oh.. I made it to 101 sets of armor.. but then ran across two more suits in the field and then pieces of armor everywhere... so I have many more than 101 sets and I did find at last the right leg to a set of X-01 armor. Now I am moving a set of this extra armor to each settlement as a preposition. Fun.

Suit 100.

Suit 101.

Graygarden Overwatch Suit.

Graygarden level gardens.

Distant View Graygarden.

Coastal Cottage Overwatch Suit.

Spectacle Island Overwatch Suit.

Lots of fun finding places on the wall for them.

Off I go to find out why the other shots didn't upload again from my xbox one.

PS.... THe consol game has a hell of a lot of cool mods.. If I can swing some money for the computer game I am gonna so I can play with all those modifications.

Looking forward to Sunday's

Now that we are lucky enough and our kids are nice enough to drive across the river we get grandbaby time every Sunday. It pretty cool to be old enough to remember everything you did way... 26 or so years ago and now have the wisdom or length of view to totally enjoy even the yelling and funny smells... Even though the yelling is nowhere what I remember my children to be able to do.. all it makes me want to do it correct the empty stomach or get a clean diaper on her. The faces and fingers and the fully learning little bundle of fun is amazing. To know also that I get to teach her stuff and read to her and spoil her terribly... hehehhehehe.... Its gonna be great.

The interesting thing right now is to see what she is looking at and try and figure out what she is thinking... We did see many more smiles today...along with some stink eyes... looks of incredulity and some fierce "where's my bottle" looks... I will leave off the hand gestures for now.. hahahaha.

It was good.

Highpoints of this week.... not much.. waiting.. paperwork.. more waiting.. a mod on the radar waveguide....

and... bunch of Fallout 4 too.

The favorite word of the week is.. Clarity.

If I had more of this I would be in cat heaven. In instructions, requests, information... Clarity.

I did, amazingly get my balloon out and flew it on Saturday. I had cameras and everything and I did try to capture the shot I want for a piece of wall art but again failed to get it right. Sad thing is I have a low resolution of the shot but I can't seem to get the high resolution right. We had people holding the balloon down while I adjusted my position and even shot off about 30 shots but none of them is right. I have to try again sometime... damn it. The flight was great... I did hand off the cameras as they we nit cinched up right and were getting in my way. I have a dual camera rig but the straps were set for walking around and too low. When I am flying I have them cinched up tight so they don't bang around but I can get to them for a shot. No luck..

The winds were low and interesting and I was able to explain exactly what I was going to do and then do so. Hop NE to a corner then pop up quickly over other balloons and land SW of them... then pop back up and chase a friend in his balloon then cut across a road so that I did touch the curbs on either side and was a few inches off the tarmac in the middle of the road. Wonderful flight and I do have the 360 video take but have not edited it yet. The next day my son flew his balloon Kiss A Hoy and I almost drove over a cliff. Okay.. I drove over the cliff and hung there for about three hours before friends could get a wrecker out to pull me back to safety. Nothing like sitting in a seatbelt at a 45 degree angle for three hours. All the good friends were there to keep and eye on me. I was okay as long as I didn't let off the break or shift about.... then my friend Mr Fear ( really his name... really...and his balloons name is Phobic ) strapped off to me and held me until the tow truck came. A quick return to horizontal and safety. I was not stuck but I was not rolled over in the Arroyo either.

Fun times. Great friends. Some shots of the weekend...

Close to the correct capture but just not exactly right.

Original picture I have to crop from.

Kiss A Hoy stained glass land.

Fire curls.

Holdfast.

Up and away.

A Cats Meow.. still on its leash.

Tower of power.

Just a few for now and more to get to.... but awesome if not all one angle.

Some fallout 4. All settlements have a nice rest area dn a bar that serves food. I even laid out some decking to make it nicer to walk around. I did achieve my specified number of power armor suits... 101 total and almost all of them modified some way. Two are decked out for stealth and energy hits.

A load of fun.

Stealth on its stand.

Energy Knockback standing below the three levels of armor.

The bar is open on Spectacle Island!

Tried to build settlements at the Sunshine Co Op and Whatever Croup Manor but the dead bodies just sit there and the space is limited... Now having about 400 cement foundation blocks I may just have to go do the drive in as it at least has no stupid dead things hanging about.

Maybe I will go join the railroad and have some fun with that storyline... dunno.

More fun to be had this week I am sure.
