What an interesting day. The commute was nice enough.. not too stupid nor too long.. just right for a Friday. Even the drive home late was not too bad in all of it all. The time in between was novel and full of strange things.

See... my little sister texted that they were on the Amtrak and heading through town with a short stop over. Sounded like fun.. I get to say hi to the kids and the sis and also maybe snap some shots of the train and stuff. It turned out to be so overcast that it was hardly worth taking the camera out.. but I did...

Seems that there were enough people out that would more interesting to shoot than just the train. Got the train but also got those interesting shots.

It was fun to visit on the side of the tracks.. No time to do anything more... Just a good chat and see how big the kids have gotten.

The train seems to have been pretty cheap for all of them and the trip without issue except for stopping all the time in the middle of anywhere for some reason. Id like to get on one and ride for a while. Not sure I can deal with the delays and or the length of time getting anywhere. I expect I should give it a try first before disparaging it all that much....

Got back to work just in time for some insanity bu it was controlled insanity. Ended up staying late to see how things got corrected. Stupid little interface cable and a few other things.. like hanging systems.. but it worked out and no loss but some time.

I have some more shots to play with but no time tonight... tired and much to do tomorrow....
