Okay. Highperactive shots and STUFF and some Fallout 4

Just skip the parts your not interested in.. it's all good. I am completely exhausted.. so very very done.

Below you will find some very nice shots of Patturns Highperactive on Fiesta field. They were taken a few months ( last September ) back. I wanted some of myself standing on the field with no balloons around but with the Pavilion and Balloon Museum in the background. Took so stalwart crew to pull it off.

I thank every one of you.

On this day the mounted police had their horses out to acclimate them to the noises and large bright colors of the balloons they would be working around during the Fiesta. I took pictures of them too before and they had no problems with the balloons at all. Very graceful and pretty horses... except for one female who seemed to have a cold and kept sneezing on everyone.. Lovely.

I'm watching you.

Cute but snotty.

Come here often?

  Photobomb.

Untangling twelve main lines and three vent lines.. way fun.

Out and throat open for some air.

Being a total goofball.

Taxiing to a nicer green area... lots of green.

Settled and posing for great pictures.

It really was fun even though we didn't fly... She needed out and some grass.. cause it was so... green!

It was my intention to get the cat5 cable run to the other four cameras at the house today. I ended up having to do it myself without any help. That meant taking two 12 foot small irrigation tubes and taping them together after they were up in the attic... getting to the farthest end of the attic and covered in insulation.. then poking the tubing in the general direction for the two side corners of the house until it felt like it was in the right place... had to do this twice.

After that it was squirm backwards without falling through the ceiling and then back to the opening and then... sheesh.. outside to cut ports in the overhang of the roof... I guessed right twice also and the tubing was right above the exact place I wanted it. Taping a drawstring and two cat5 cables to the tube and then again.. going up into the attic and scootching out to get the tube and draw it back until I had the cable in my hands. Tying off the draw string to a nearby rafter then pulling the cat5 cable all the way up.. then back to the attic hatch.. and fall out and I lost breath up there and had to sit down for ten minutes to stop from passing out. Bad.

Outside again and verify that both the cable and the damn drawstring had found things to get hung up on... fixed that. connected the cameras and then draw the remaining cable to the port. Finished those two and headed back to the back to run the camera for the back. Same deal. in the attic..feel for the corner... get down .. rest.. go outside and locate and cut the access hole... tape and pull. Connected it all and it all works.

After that I had to disconnect all the cables from the system... re route them through an existing port in the attic to a box in the wall.. ran it down that and into the office and connected up to the system. Still works. Whew. In between this I disconnected the old system and removed all that stuff...cut two bushes down...washed off the back porch and then put everything away. After that it was cleaning up and vacuuming all the fiberglass insulation up around where I was working and run the cables behind everything.

Not run to its correct place yet but I have cable to get there... not short like I thought it might. I didn't run the 8th camera as it was not needed...it's now my spare. Here is where I was by myself for most of the morning trying not to pass out from lack of oxygen and heat...

Looking East to where I had to wiggle in.. way at the back. The bucket was for catching water from a spinning vent. Not needed now but didnt feel the need to move it. Meh.

West side and air-con tubing. I love having to balance on the rafters and work bent over so the nails from the roofing tiles don't poke into my skull or back..way fun. 53 is far too old to be doing this crap. Granted I saved myself about 3 thou in installation. Bad news is I am going to pay for the stress on my system for days to come.No.. not mold on the back wall.. dirty insulation.

Okay.. that was this weekend and a past weekend.... Below are the banners for the week from facebook.. Lots of fun here...

Its pretty tough to come up with a banner and a logo every darned day. Yes I was asked to do this.. yes I should have said HELL NO... yes... I can be manipulated.. yes.. It's all my fault. When did I think I needed to relate the logo to the banner I don't know. My photoshop skills are thin. Need some major training.... but all the best are not on this continent.... hahaha... oh well..

That's it for the main blog.. now we are going to pop into Fallout 4 so .. stop reading.. run away... find a good book....

This week's silliness.... I really usually spend about two hours playing... unless there is nothing else to do.. I rarely watch television ( I'd rather read a book ) though I will sit in the same room as a television that is turned on. I shuttle between the office and the main living room depending on babysitting or just being watchful.. no I do not try and play and babysit at the same time.. Like that's even possible.

Back to the show... We had the DLC Mech drop. It was fun and I got through it quickly. Since I had created a set of power armor for each settlement and then put up a lighted mounting place in each atop or attached that part was interesting. Having one set of armor stolen was maddening as I had left no power cores nearby. Bastard! So.. there.. did that... what else was there to do... Well I went ahead and found the optimum build out for a robot... This was a mix of an atomatron with tesla armor.. laser grip left hand and a gatling laser right arm. Tight and with the tesla melee damage it is a great package. I have only lost one to battle and it was forced into a place it couldn't escape from.. It has been replaced. Getting them to the settlements I wanted turned into a companion join then break and send off to whichever settlement was empty.

With so many settlements I forgot where I had sent them and had duplicated in places.. had to write up a quick cheat sheet on yellow postit note paper.

First four letters of the settlement, first R is Robot in place, second R or L is for Rocket or Laser turrets. I had too many attacks by high level raiders/mutants/robots. Had to do something to slow them down. It worked and now it's a bit easier to repel these attacks..and yes.. I have had three settlements attacked at the same time at times.

The ] means not worth building a settlement on except Red Rocket as its my home base and the O above the names means there is a robot building station there. The dots are attacks while I was working on the robots. Many. They follow along behind every trader and pack cow. Wish I had set up a better route for them... too late now. I also upgraded Sommerville place and moved crops out of the way of stupid raiders appearing in the middle of a settlement and in a few other places.

I did work on an upgrade to Sanctuary only to lose it all due to a glitch in the system. Wonderful.

What's next... upgrade some more places ( Sanctuary first probably followed by Oberland Stations rest area... I have yet to get to a lot of the remaining quests but will probably do those between fixen up the homestead.

Yes.. I have lots to do around the "real" house too.  How was your week... as different?
