So after getting a lot of it done ( still bucket loads to do ) it seems that my large screen is pretty small compared to the surface size. Sad. I need a few more 28 inch monitors..hahahahaha.... Where the heck would I put them! 1920x1200 is not big enough though.
Then.. I got sidetracked.. it was a fun sidetrack. Got to talk with friends down at Takach Press where they hand make Lithography presses you will find all over the world and then cornered another good friend.. hehehe... we passed 25 bucks back and forth a bit before deciding to drive down to ABQ Hot AIR to see about a strap..... I got a strap made right in front of me... Yeah... pretty cool. How long did I want it.. Just so....... Gotta love balloon zones... Good conversation and all... yeah... nifty stuff. Took a few shots which I will probably set here tomorrow. I have to look at them again...
What I am posting today is obscure things I shot Sunday and a shot of the folks setting up for music..which I never did get to hear as it took forever to get as far as they did before I had to leave.
Beams
A pretty dark shot that took a bit of energy to pull it out. Loved the sun spikes.
Leafings
Looking down.... yep... the shadows of the above leaves. Too bad I couldn't get a good video of the twinkling of the leaves as they danced in the breeze. Too many people wanted to stand on my feet to get a clean clip.
Have you seen me?
A favorite of mine is the back of signs.. This one was heavily stuck. Cool too. Strange and obscure.
Setup timing.
I don't think they had a very tight time limit for getting things done. I believe.. Maybe next weekend I can get there and listen to the jams. Maybe not. Depends. So yup it was a nifty day down there.. and a fun day today. I enjoyed work and my workmates... I need more coffee though. I keep running out too quickly... and muffins or a bagel would be good too. I really think someone putting a nice cafe nearby would be excellent.
Maybe some day.
My facebook banner for the day is of the pinwheel balloons outside Discover Balloon store in old town. I didn't get a chance to go in but I loved out these were spinning and creating shadows of color on the walkway. Again, another thing I couldn't capture with the camera. Too many shoes.
Logo is of the cross streets near Discover. Rippling light on the one way sign.
Color color color..... Everywhere color... I should show you the flower shots.. they are impressive... especially with the shading going on. Oh well.. perhaps tomorrow... perhaps the day after.
Oh. last thing.. I took some magnifiers with me but never used them .. for macro and diffused shots... If I had left them behind I would have wanted to use them... Meh.
