There is a AAAA meet Sunday the 12th at Fiesta Park north East corner around 7am. I will be out to take pictures. I may take the GoPros out and see if I can get something on them that’s worth the time. I do hate three videos sitting waiting to b processed. I just have not had the time to mess with them.
Tomorrow I have to stop by the small motor shot and drop off my fans. One is leaking and the others throttle is having a problem. gotta get em working before I can go fly again. Then there is this 105 envelope sitting in my trailer to get where it needs to go. Phil. LOL.
The conversation today was on off site storage of your data. Our data. The data. Talked to some nice folk on cloud storage and they have a very nice set up but it costs an arm a leg and a body that the arm and leg are attached to. We shall see what their estimate comes in at. This leads me to the old saw for everyone.. if you do not have two copies of your important data then you are gonna have a bad time. Plus there is encryption software out there to secure those drives for free. We are talking heavy security.
We were trying to figure out a poor mans way of doing it and it would have the have three duplicate hard drives and a rotation in and out schedule. It should give you about a months backup and if you rotate them out three months of hold to files if you need to go back and find something you may have deleted by mistake. External hard drives are cheap right now so that isn't an excuse that holds water in a bucket with a hole in it.
Well it would work but you would have to schedule the movement of the drives. Nothing major.
I think I got three things don't yesterday per my schedule. I will have to think what I've done today that is three things. It is working. I wish it was warmer though. I have many things to do outside!!!
That 105 envelope is still hiding in my trailer. I wonder why.

A Go Pro steady cam mount. Hand held. Good idea but I dunno if it would work for my applications. It would be nice to remove the shudder of the basket moving while I am moving about. Depends on its ability to be hooked to an arm.
Another duh post. Why do people still download music when you can stream it.
Because! Because I usually am not where I can stream it. And I like to listen to whatever is in my files whenever I feel like it. I do not want to go hunt up a signal then pay for the darn data rates and then have to hunt for the darn song I want to listen to. All well and good in your house but pleaseeeeeeee as Rodger Rabbit says.

Its always fun to see what change could split something. I want to believe we live in one of infinite universes that are inside other universes. Or something like that. We are Earth Worms in the Multiverse. We can't even conceptualize the thoughts needed to reference ourselves. I think we are much smaller than we believe now. We see and react as we can. I also believe that any small change creates differences that we pay no heed to. We can only encompass so much information. So we swim around in a ever changing reality. Lets just enjoy what we can with who we can.

If you must help the NSA monitor your self and family this is the way to go.. and you get to pay for it too!!! Hay I am all for a system where you can keep an eye on your home but wow. I would rather have a cam with access that I can only access and there are cameras on my house but they are not connected in any way to the net. They record. A good security measure. Yes if they break in good luck with finding where its recording to. I think you would have to strip the house to the bones to find it and then my neighbor would have by then called the police and they would already be sitting at the driveway. That's another reason to build a house in a container. You would need a heavy welding rig to get into it when it was secure. Oh yes.. you have how many minutes till the local police arrive… Yeah….
I would put my container on a flatbed Have it moved to across the road from my office and set up a little awning and chair and sit and drink coffee and wave. Then when I wanted some trees Id have it moved to the forest.. then to the beach, then to the mountains… Like a travel trailer but able to deal with weather and idiots. Woo HOO…. Lets go to the beach.
