This looks like San Francisco… What is a San Francisco? Another damn alleyway too. And Rain. Oh Joy. Shuffling over to a nearby diner, you know, the type, flashy chrome sides and the red neon signs blinking. Earl’s Eats. Earl eats what? Well at least its not raining in here. Counter, Coffee with coffee stains, a quarter.. What the hell is a quarter!
Ongoing play with the photographs. I keep thinking that since almost everyone has a camera of some sort in their tiny or large fists there must be a total mound of pictures out there. I think there is. I have heard that if you want to remember something never take a picture of it. Strange. I use pictures to remember everything else around that picture. One almost talisman picture can bring up scents and smells and what was next to what and where did that go. I, as one of those late to it photographers try with all my might to find the different angle. Following a statement in one of Tim Powers books Last Call I believe was the true statement paraphrased; the view of the world from the child’s eye level. I will regularly take the camera away from my eye and drop it to ankle height and shoot from there. Amazing the shots you can get. Push the edge back.. map out a section of the art and make it yours.
Here are a few I did last night ( its easier to manipulate photographs in the middle of the night for some reason ).

But interesting too.
Arches is coming out with a smart watch Good price points too. Not bad. I love Arches electronics and they always have a way of producing cool stuff.
