But Ollie!

No joy in the urn… Okay.. Lets take stock. We seem to be getting blown up which is not killing us. We are traveling when that bang happens. There is this hot dish with short black hair. Her touch is very dangerous and seems to cause the banging to happen. To top it all of, I can't remember a damn thing. Okay I can remember some things. Brain, your name is sieve.

An interesting day at work. Java hates my office computer. Thank goodness my surface can do what I had to do but couldn't do. LOL. Worked just fine. A possible fix for some of the other property problems showing up. Yay! Lots of calendars which cracks me up… I love calendars. I scanned a bunch of stuff. Normally anything paper size that crosses my desk gets scanned, and I scribble scanned and the date on the paper and put it in a stack ready to be shredded. Its a long process but a good process.

I tracked down a couple of shots to show you. They have been tone mapped to enhance the detail and in some cases bleed. I'll explain on each what I was trying for and what I got. I do know that taking a lot of pictures is better than taking a few perfectly set up shots. Meaning…….. More is better. Why. Because….. no.. really.. because you have more to work with. If you have one shot you may have let something creep into frame that you didn't see. Or you may have missed something that you had not noticed. many is good. Different angles is better. Both are perfect. I am going to put one of my shippers blankets in my truck so when I feel the need to lay down on the ground I can.

Yes it will look silly… but since I look silly already its not much of a problem.

Scooter Brother!
No, really a bi plane. Look at all those fins. I had to get just close enough, then level it and frame. Good place to take a shot from.

Wash the truck is all I said.
The odd and interesting. I had to find a way to get to this truck once I had spotted it from the road. Well worth the time.

Intervene.
I got real low to get these bushes by the side of the road. Focused on the reeds only and let everything else defocus.

My Lounge.
Up close and tight, Sun kicking just in the right place. I think I could have gotten it a bit better.

Rail Runner.
A monument to Route 66 in Gallup New Mexico. Try and find it. Hah! THe road becomes a rail as it exits the wall. I like this point of view over all the others.

Yowza!

  And some links..

There were a lot of links today.. probably 20 in all…. These were worth looking at.

Over the top. Some look like they would be fun but most just make me go.. okay….. Cool though. Gave me some ideas and that's good…

This one had me saying to myself.. Yeah right… Not a gimmick…. Sure Wilbur.. lets hear another one…
Curved screens are a gimmick…. You need a curved screen like you need another hole in your head as my Father says. My Grandfather used to say.. how'd it go? But that's another story… No.. You do not need curved. What we need is fully functional I-glasses.. Like the heads up displays but in a smaller package. For family viewing the screens we have the 4d screens and they are good enough. heh.. whatever there too…

A very interesting take on photography.. The angle is good .. not sure about the invasiveness of the shot. If I could get far away or not interact with the people I was shooting I think you would have something there.. but sticking a camera near someone means they are not going to act natural… Not gonna happen

Last is a funny ones. Quite interesting to know what might have made a person tick. I love knowing about people and their lives. Its almost an obsession to learn. I don't mean just anyone. But some special people.. not stars like this gentleman… as much as his story is very interesting. Special people are people who have done something worth knowing. Followed a path and developed into what they are now. I tend to be nosey and usually need to be smacked. My best friends know how I am. Heck I would have loved to sit down with my friends parents and listened to their lie story to that point. What was the most enjoyable thing you did… what was a smell you hated liked. How were the school classes, when did you decide on your career or if you didn't what was motivating you. Oh so many things… I beg the forgiveness of my friends.
