A very quiet day today. Ran some pictures through Gimp and then took pictures of banners on the floor. The best so far but quite a lot of keystoning. Thats where the top or bottom are not the same length as each other. The skew tool works great for this and the all came out okay. I have to get them flattened better but like I said this works for now. I wanted these shot because they are collectors for me and also I wanted to use them for background and wallpaper. Steps taken. 1 import the main shot, 2 skew it so it fills the window and is as level as possible, 3 save, 4 reopen, 5 skew down to 3 sections on the side. Save again. Not too bad. Lost of trail and error with Gimp.
Keystone shot.
Skewed to corners.
Skewed for wide.
Spotty and base shot.
Skewed and despotified ( my word hah ).
Spotty base shot.
Skewed and cleaned.
Tall shot with good color.
Skewed flat to meet the wide frame.
There are a lot of applications for this kind of mod. You can add skewed items into other shots to change or add thing in that picture that are undetectable. It boggles the mind to thing of the possibilities. Here I go. More to find.
Some links for you.
Impressive idea. Needs to be refined but cool none the less.
I have always wanted to build a house from containers. I know I have already sketched better ideas than these.
Amazing...simply amazing.
You can stay underwater as long as the power supply is operational.. wow. Here we go... the FUTURE.
I like my nano. Its my go to for light weight music. I have it full ( 16 gig ) of favorites. Now it can be snapped into this snazzy band.
Lot more good links out there .. one about how hot water in your wash will shrink up your clothes but not so much the dryer. Learn something new. Among things on flat screen hiding, lights, nose maggots, oh fun Sunday.
Off to hunt up some things.
