Music.. Friends...

Just returned from a retirement party for a very special woman. I will not post her name here as this is really not the venue for that. Let me just say that she worked in the same office 40 plus years... Same office for different people with different technology.... her favorite she said was an electric typewriter. Sadly I think I was the one who had to tell her it had died in the end.

The folk who put the show on did a great job. You have to be wondering where I am going with this.

Beside it being a touching event it was evident to me that as much as I knew and know these people..

Its a thought provoking moment for me...

 I have worked and work with them over the years and I found there were aspects I really didn't know about.

One thing I wanted to touch on... Music. Without music.... Just think about that for a moment... without music... what would life be like?

So touching on that...  My old boss was there. And I found a cool thing out while they were showing a slide show of our retiring Admin Assistant. He played the guitar in the background of the slide show! And it was amazing.

I spoke with him for a bit here and there when there was time in between talking to other good friends..

What else is there about my friends that I dont know.. I do know I need to listen more... I do know I want to know my friends better.

If you see me yapping instead of listening... remind me... I do get carried away with my mouth a lot.

So along with that thought is this... Life without music... is not life. Be it Head banging rock or Classic.... enjoy it... share it... point it out!

I edit and create videos of Balloons in flight for the fun of it was well as for a fee. When I am building a video its not the cuts.. or the timing or the view as much as that the music fit the moment.. I was going to say feel... but its the feel of that moment that gives you that rush. The video by itself is good but add the right piece of music and.... It moves you.

Fill your life with music is my thought for today... that and listen to your friends.
