Well today was the last day of the AAAA Friends and Lovers Rally. Sadly no one was able to fly today.
Blame the darn weather.
Big round of Applause to Colleen and crew for putting on a super fun event even without the flying part there were baggies being tossed....
Baggies... Balls... Things full of sand and everything in between! You can check out my photographs at the link below.
Something to remember.... no matter where you go there is usually a camera crew around videotaping something.
And DSLR type cameras were everywhere too.
Another day to meet new people to ballooning and to our little ( hah ) group! Gave a card out today with the link to this blog. Hopefully she will come visit and read.
We are gearing up for a flight in Patturns Highperactive this next Saturday. I plan on taking of a friend of mine who has not experienced a racer. He is a very good Pilot... Very good... so it should be fun.
A few of the colorful and diverse baggies that were thrown today. Almost too pretty to chuck!
Here is a link to my good friend Erics Page ... http://www.aerostatz.com/
And a new link off of his for Balloon Tarps... http://www.balloontarps.com/ A new and interesting company
So I was going to tell you more about the Friends and Lovers Rally wasn't I.
Since I already said it was a lot of fun... and on the first day one balloon flew.... LOL.. 9 minutes...
Thats a super crew there.. to do all that work for a 9 minute flight..... Sounds like the USS Minnow... if you know what I mean.... A nine minute cruise.. a nine minute cruise...
The food was fantastic and there are loads of pictures on my site of that... wow... YAY!!! The upload process is done...
You can see the Photographs of the rally here... http://invisibleblack.zenfolio.com/p668735477
Just the pictures tell the whole story.... You missed a great time... I am hoping you will come out and enjoy this fun family soon!
All the best tonight to you and yours.. Hold them close.
Patrick
And on a sad thought but I must put this here because we lost one of our family.....
