AIBF... Argh!!! Cant do it today!

Can you say.. I don't wanna go there today...  Can you say brain overload from work? I am getting a VoIP system going in the office and there are so many decision points and adjustments and selections!!! Even when I think its tied up something throws a wrench in it and I have to correct or adjust. Nice system, But finicky.

So I need something looser to talk about today.

Here is a picture I took of a UFO when down on the Roswell NM airfield.

It did a few passes... real noisy! Funny lookin nose but they say that about me. Roswell is an interesting place to visit. They have adopted the alien theme all over the place. Even the street lamps look like alien heads... with eyes!!!  Did you know there are about 12 missile silos sprinkled around the City of Roswell?

I have visited a few.. looked from afar at a couple more. Some are completely gone due to fires during refueling or fueling when they were active.

Aliens I captured and put to work ballooning!  Look at those out of this world looks.. WOW!

Really this is Nick and Andy tucked into the back of the chase truck before heading to the Fiesta Field. Its soooo early and most times cold... and sometimes wet... that's why they have the tarp over them. It was dripping.

Anyhow.... If you are in the area of Roswell stop.. Stop in and say hi! There is also a balloon rally there in May... The Old Timers Rally.. Its an invitational... Its awesome...

Its an older hotel motel but it has a great courtyard and loads of space. Every crew tailgates back at the motel after.. food and fun supplied. You can see a video of my flight there here..
