Intermezzio

Wow.. what a week! Just not sure trying to do everything I can is enough. I keep feeling like I am getting farther behind. The need to move myself off off administration and back onto electronics is a big need right now. Not that I left it completely.. more like I cant pay attention to it because of all the admin stuff that forces my attention. No time ( and I am working overtime.comp time/credit hours and I am exhausted. Mentally more than physically but the mental parts wipes out any physical abilities or wants.. I have things to do on the weekends I cant do on the evenings but when the weekend comes its all I can to do not just vegetate.....

There was green chili turkey pizza left over so that was eaten! Now its just waaaaaaaa........ In there I posted my facebook banner update and logo.. funny... and played a bit of Borderlands and scratched the dogs. Now my feet are cold. Not unlike some people I know.. hahahahahahaha.... Oh... have to remember to bring a RCA cable and connector to work for my computer. Remember ... remember...remember...

Taking a break from going around and around in my brain on travel I decided to hunt down some close scenes from a run to Tucumcari NM. Its a small town and in the middle of pretty much nowhere... well there are a lot smaller towns in the middle of nowhere NM but this one has history behind it. Nothing major... It also has a good restaurant named Del's in it. Its pretty good but I havent been there in ages since I am now tethered to the office. I never want to come across as complaining about the great job I have its jsut I need time to ingest it and write it down as my memory is pretty bad.

Back to the intermezzio.. here are three of the shots I took in town of things pretty much past and, well, by now are probably gone since once things start to rust they are torn down quickly... Lots of personal history here as I have driven through it so many times I cant count... North to South.. West to East... East to North... South to West... every which way.

A now defunct and deteriorating restaurant on the East side of town. That is a neat thing about New Mexico is that old things tend to melt into the ground faster than they get torned down. Cuervo of which I have talked about before is one of those towns.. now almost ghost that is really melting... The walls of the houses were made from the red clay of the ground and the water, rain ... harsh weather is drawing it down and back to its basic state.. Lots of cool pieces of wood around too. I never remove anything or move anything as that would be destroying what I love to take pictures of .... ya know..
Like plucking flowers... Now its dead and now it will go into the trash... yay trash.... Oh well...

Arizona is an awesome state too but very sun abused.. its Newmexico that has been put in a hot stove and left to dry out all the way... ouch.. but even the name... Arizona is pretty darn cool. Say it.. Ar iz onaaaaaaaa...... Then go find some ice. Next driving trip to Las Vegas I am darn well going to stop along the way. Gots to do the Canyon too.

 I laugh at the extreme of the worm.... All or nothing.... Now I have cherry pie in the fridge.. but I forgot the whipped cream... So its going to sit there until tomorrow afternoon after I finish the chores I want to try and do ..AND...get whipped cream.. then its going to be cherry pie weekend!
