Had troubles with our VoIp phone system this morning. What should have been a day of leave for me saw me rushing in at the worst time of rush hour to fix a problem. Yeah the guys were getting there but there were things that they couldn't really do. After many many many phone calls and constant explanations on what exactly was wrong we are getting it fixed tomorrow. Whew! Gee... wow. I got somewhat frustrated with it all...plus the standard insanity of the day. Its all good just very tired.
Poor Mike at hq had to take a few calls from me today. I apologised and he was cool with it. More fun tomorrow. Lists, things, budgets, modifications.. exciting stuff all around... still got numb fingers.
I have to remember to have all that VoIP info with me so I can deal with this from the house. VoIp is cool that way.. you can access it from anywhere. I cant recable it like we had to but hay......
Onto other less work related stuff.. amn.. sorry.. more work related stuff... I had noticed that the airport was grading the back side of our building. Its their area but its been a dust zone whenever the spin up a plane and it covers our solar sensors all the time. Well, I went out to see what was what and found they were doing a pretty good job of laying the first or second course of rock down prior to blacktopping it. That should cut down the dust a lot.... So I took some pictures...
Solar sensor one.
In the background you can see the work they are doing... Nice job guys!
Consider and Constrast.
Walking back to check the locks on the side doors I snapped this which is just above the fence to the dirt.

TreeLife.
Some nice budding going on beside where they test paint stripes out back.
I could post pictures of holes or a cable or last weeks cheese dinner but these were much nicer. Again.. on my cell phone.... what you can do in nice light with a cell phone cam is amazing.
My facebook banner for the day is a city shot I thought sucked bad due to the haze and bad light.. but a little elbow grease when I got home brought it out nicely without over running anything... very sublime.
Below is my logo for FB for the day. A good scratch edit of my balloon shadow... I don't thing there would ever be a correct shadow shot taken on my envelope from the basket... its too hard to miss its specific shape due to the angle of the sun.
I rewatched the 611 train video.... Still pretty cool and I love how the name and lettering and colors are across the engin and coal/water bunker in back... I played with that with my colors and will maybe show it tomorrow.. Nothing amazing.. just cool.. and very detailed....17,000 dpi wide.
Off to see what else I can toy with.
