And the winds go up.. and then down.

Then up again!

The tanks are plugged in... Yeah.. maybe not cold enough but since they have settings on them they won't overheat. It will be the temp I set it to regardless. Three camera arms are also in there. Cameras are set to go too.

So many things to make sure are done. Cooler is loaded. Ice is in the outside freezer. Snacks are in the house. Batteries changed in the sensors and two radios. Now all I have to do is get some sleep.

One of my good friends had a great idea for a coffee table book.... He probably should do it himself as its a great idea... but if he isn't gonna I may just go ahead.. I thought I had a bunch of specific shots to use but I only started taking that type of shot lately... So I will have to go get more of those shots in the near future.

So back stopped shots...

Packed and Stacked.
Only two things are necessary for flying tomorrow... the bag and folder. three different arms... one very long. one short and one dual.

Inside Out.
Only one item is necessary in this pile of tech for flying. The flytec sensors which tell me my ambient temp, inside envelope temp, baro, altimeter, time and rise fall speed. An awesome little package of information. The ground air radio is a benefit ( Thank you AIBF ) and great for where we fly and possibly having to contact an airport tower. GPS's are fun to have to verify your location instead of having a map out all the time. Plus the big GPS has zones you can program in. Radios for talking to the crew or the crew to the pilot. Instruments covers by Aerco! Nicely done in  my balloon colors.

In the folder of which I didn't take pictures of are my balloon manual, Logbook pilot and system, airworthiness certs and registration. Boring paperwork.

Because it's a cute bird. Just a standard finch but a nice enough bugger.

I decided to play with the logo for Lindstrand balloons... See if I could recreate it and then modify it... which I did.. and did and now use as my daily facebook banner....

I decided to see if I could interlace my tail number with the Lindstrand name.. pretty hard and not great but worked.

Since I was trying to recreate thing I saw an oval sticker for Hot Air Balloons by the AAAA and tried to make a square one and in red instead of black.... It turned out nicely too and then I redid the size so it would make a cool background for my phone.... which I did too... Good fun.

I found this on the nets and it was funny enough to post...

There were a few things on the nets of the tech bent but not really worth posting.. A "weather Station" that really is only a plant watering warning device...which was pretty costly just to verify when you heed to water a darn plant. The second barely interesting thing was another ear bud device to stop your wires from getting all tangled up but it was just another velcro strap with a  foam insert you would lose so quickly .. and again.. for quite a lot of money... are there that many stupid people out there... The third was something I think is overpriced but may just get because even though it's way overpriced it might be nice to have a notebook to write in that I can digitally search later... which is a problem I have now.. I have notes everywhere and I take pictures of them but can't search them or locate unless I go back by date which isnt very helpful.. so I may go there.

Moleskine... or whatever.. hard bound.. elastic cover strap, gridded pages with numbers and when you take pictures of them and use evernote you can search it... which would be very nice. It would be worth trying it out. Heck.. they way I write notes... what I write is only part of the note.. where and how and the location in relationship with other notes is part of the notes... or how my brain works.. or like throwing paint at a wall.

So.. there ya go.. thoughts for the night.... Oh I did speed edit a video but its taking forever to load again so I can't link it tonight.. sigh.

Party on Dudes!
