Spent today with the Top Gunners Balloonists and Target 1 ( shots on my web site )... spent the afternoon pulling the large pond filter and cleaning it.. and also pulling water celery and mint from the pond waterfall ( PITA ). I couldn't get the fish to come out even with all the moving around so no fish got adopted out. Perhaps tomorrow. We shall see....
So this evening I spent bracketing the shots from the car show and the Balloon Museum held on Saturday. I am barely scratching the surface but here are a bunch that caught my eye.... so I processed them first.. and no... not all because I am nowhere near the end... Enjoy

I did put two galleries in there of the Top Gun weekend.
The flying day ( today ) .. the sky was so bland that trying to tone map anything sucked bad....
I didn't even try past a few... I did crop them for width as that at least made them slightly interesting.
As I said the car show was nice... one thing to remember... do NOT wear yellow.. and my thighs hurt bad from all the squats and kneeling I did. The sky Saturday was awesome though. My favorite view.. down and dirty gives such a look to the shots.

They put on a good show. Wished the hoods were not all open but I didn't want to ask these guys to drop them just for me.

Championships are right around the corner.. If you're in Albuquerque... or thinking of coming ... this is a wild view of aggressive, impressive and top end Hot Air Balloon flying....Pilots who are driving their balloons instead of floating along with the breeze.. they are hunting launch locations.. looking for winds to work with and pushing the "Envelope" on balloon handling... Yeah like I could pas that pun up.
