Paths, Process, Pains in the butt.

Stepping to the center of the next section down and onto or into a beautifully tiled mosaic patter on the floor. Must be about twenty one ish feet across octagonal. Swirls and sweeps in blues and and greens and looks like there are shades of a maze and natural organic positioning. Next comes as little shock as a curtain of light and color sweep from left and right as if they were circling me, then again sweep around opening onto a high cliff face. Deep green grass and chalk while slopes down to the crashing waves. Blue sky and thin clouds moving towards me. looking down and the fairy circle of clover beneath my feet with a slight feeling of a smirk y smile on face. Another interesting fact.

A day at home keeping an eye on the wrapped and strapped boy. I was unscrewing shelf mounts and then spackling the holes in a closet but I woke the zombie up and he shuffled in to ask me what I was doing. Had to tell him to go back to the undead and rest. So, putting up the tools and Spackle for now and just cleaning up. Cant have him bouncing out of bed in a neck brace. I figured it was better to sit down and write my blog now and start a list for work tomorrow and a list for home now. My home list is mainly setting up the house so that while guests are here I do not have to access those rooms to get things or do things, like reset the router or pick up a camera. So far the closet in the new guest room, which I am now calling the mesa room ( HAH ) is cleared and what cant be moved has been orderly stacked in clear mini bins along one side leaving two thirds of the closet open to hanging up clothes and putting shoes in there. Still have to work on the router and such. For work , the list is much longer. Taking two days off to help with the boy of low gravity has put a dent in my productivity. Primary, Travel, property.. also filing, equipment and documentation. Better take snacks.

The photography side bring me to the need to learn photoshop better. Must get familiar with it. Gimp is so easy since I know it already. What I am trying to hone down is the way a level of light meshes with the level of the picture. I want it to look natural but also feel like its coming forward at you. Its hard to do and distractions are everywhere.

Just A Dime.
I am always attracted to the location of light.

Rag Route.
Bold colors too. In this shot there was no apparent light source. So I created on. It worked.

Nob Hill.
You would think the neon would attract me... Nope. The greenish glow of the tower.

Sunflower.
Heavy edit. Lighting again. What color, what way.

Novel Links...

Another case for the iphone. Like there arn't enough already. And again they fail the first blush test. First blush looks okay and they tout the safety and looks "just like a book." Sadly they fail hard. The edge isn't finished and shows that there is a phone, pad, thing in there. I want full submersion covers.

I have been working on a way to get a 360 degree capture in the air in my balloon. When I skipped across the idea of suspending a mirrored globe over the camera I thought it might work. I have reasons. No joy yet. Have to get that 8 inch globe. then work out the suspension thing. I have lots of drawings.  This is okay but at 500 dollars.. uh.. NO!.

Remember my tirade on over consumerism. then I see this.. and... Oh I can see how they get under your skin... Woooooo.... No.. not gonna do it. Nope. May be nice but now you have to buy everything again! Good job Microsoft. Reel em in.

I love it. Now I know someone who is not gonna get walked over like these people do. She would kick you in the shin.
