Other than bonking my head twice it was a great day. Reported winds the night before were going to be 20 MPH. It turned out to be less than 3 MPH on and around the field. The west side which looked nice was kicking the 20 MPH on the mesa but just below it was clam too. I decided to stay on this side and poodle around. Traffic was heavy but that's pretty much standard at Fiesta with 500 plus balloons. We just meandered around the sky looking around. No direction just up and taking pictures.
The pictures and videos are downloaded and processed. I will add some here none modified in a bit.
They landing, pack up, and tailgate was excellent. With all the friends around and more friends coming over to visit and all the snacks and food and various drink and great conversation... it could have lasted for ages. I know were were close to the last group on the field. Some great stories were told...even if it did take Jey a long time to get out of college. Not really his fault. Hi lights of the food.. Pumpkin cupcakes, brisket, scrapple and cookies I think my sister made. Also the Chili cubes are up there and lets not talk about how many home made oreos were eaten! I would have liked to have some sausage rolls but they are always out in the morning hot and I cant eat anything before flying unless its quite mild.
Tomorrow I will get the videos to the main computer and clip out some shots from all the last four videos. There are a lot of cool segments. Just waiting to get to them when I am not zonked and unheadached.
Here are a few quick shots....
Laid out and waiting.
Stacking up and raring to go.

Off limits to balloons...hahahahahaha
Lori in the outfield.
Yep 7 days of flying.. 7 days of fun.... 7 days!!! Wow. I think parts that are not sore are tired... and parts that are not tired and wired... and well.. the other than wired parts are.... pooped.
Have some fun with these.
Mice.. I would rather not use a mouse.. I am a trackball guy. Mainly Kensington. And my favorite pet peeve... the command line. Computers are supposed to make it easier. The command line is not easier or quicker. That is a my more hatefull part of Linux. easiers, faster, quicker, smarter.

Love the age of dirigibles. wish there was a way to being that back fully. I also want the 20s thru the 50s back with today's technology.
