OKay.. I got screwed in this deal.. There was nothing I could do..but...
Here is what happened....
I got a bunch of pictures last night of my wife and her long time friend.. great pictures.. using my cell phone... Droid X2. Yeah its a little buggy sometimes.... Little did I know it was not saving a damn thing. Or... specifically.. it was overwriting as it went. So of 8 shot I took.. each one was overwritten before I could save it off the chip. Is there a way around this... yeah.. I should have checked at the time to see that each one was on the chip.. and or moved or really copied to the other internal memory.. Did I have the time.. not really.. we were having to much fun... Does that make me any happier.. HELL NO>!

Called Recuva... it found everything.. it also showed me what had happened to the files ( pictures ) I thought were safely stored away. Could it recover them... no.. they were overwritten like 7 times. So..
Your warning.. always check to see your files are stored.. always save them elsewhere as soon as you can. never assume... Im still super irritated...
End of the world ... no.. but damn near...
Gotta find a replacement phone.. this one is too flaky...

Its pretty fun... Too bad I had to leave the cam on the tripod and couldn't zoom in.. I dunno.. Could have been two cameras set up.. whatever.. it was fun doing...
