Oh.......waiting waiting waiting.....

I got to wait a lot today. I do hate waiting. Well it wasnt even fun waiting. Or waiting for something fun. Oh Well... Its Friday... that will do for now.... HAPPY FRIDAY!!

ITS PIE DAY.... okay I wish it were pie day. Cherry pie? Apple Pie.....No rhubarb....

Spent the day while waiting... pulling the drainage tube out of the trench. rehoeing the trench... making it a little more deeper and cleaning the debris out of it. Stage two will be plastic....

Exciting!

I also put Erics balloon system back together.. though .. sorry Eric.. I did not clean the basket.. no time...too hot... But.. tanks are in and strapped.. third tank as well. Covers are down on the bottom with the burners nicely laid in.. uprights and bag are set on in short inside between the two tanks. And then I put the old Seasons Skirt over the top to keep the dust out of the  whole thing. I had mo to help me put KKisses back up on the pile of envelopes as I tried twice and almost had it fall on me. So nice and neat and waiting for your return.

Id take pictures but... well maybe later...

For those of you who are not normally around balloon systems..its good..very good to keep your gear clean and dry... Also away from anything that can cut, scratch or rub. And dust sucks on anything.

Day 143 of my inability to count.

After yesterdays insane modification tirade here is the flip side... Day 2 of the mod.. Like BUTTA!

Even before I was ready i was getting called to start it. And then as we were getting to the point to verify everything processed over right they were alrready thre and done. We sat back..... wooooo.

Now the remainder of the day was a bloomin triple header.. three things going on at all times. No time to select.. I will do this now.. then this then this.. it was.. THIS ALL NOW! ALL DAY!

Even in a conference call I was doing three things. I dont mind the number three but hay!

I did feel accomplishment today... most days its so nebulous as you cant see it... might be me.

Today..... today I had a modification to do on our Main Frame. Install a NAS box. ( Naturally massive Ass Stone box ). 3 person lift!

1. Some people have no clue how to write a modification note. Clear ..concise.. loads of color pictures... KISS!
2. If you want me to label cables dont say.. select three cables out of eleven and supply thirteen!
3. If you having cables connected please keep all cables being connected in the same freakin paragraph with breaks ( or spaces ) so that you can discern one set of numbers from another. ( this is how it was CD_213987 blah blah blah CD_4534234 blah blah blah
blah CD_123545 blah bla CD_463722 blah blah.... ) Freakin ..yes thank you.. yes I cant read well now.. and you made it all them more easier to feel more incapable.

Never mind... two cables in the wrong place and six missed by my poor eyesight and bad writing.....and my super IT and I had to go back and install.....nothing major....... yeesh!

I blame myself.

What I really want to do it rewrite the whole Mod note the right way... and send it back to them with all the corrections... but.... I already am doing four jobs instead of my one... Lets not pile on. Please try harder.

So with all that... no time for anything else... Perhaps a happy picture will make it all better.. let me see if I can find one....

Wiped Out!

Well third dayand last day of the Rio Grande Classic Top Gun Championships Wow. I took over 1200 shots. The sky sucked. I have no clue yet if many of the shots I got will come out without some major photoshop filtering. But the sky was full of balloons.. and the targets were loaded with baggies.

As soon as I have time to get the shots sifted I will load them up on my website. Right now... some Test Patterns...

Target number two today... well ..the scorer was wearing a fashionable ight shift with beautiful dove grey ensamble.. her matching gear bag by a well know but unnamed designer was fetching!

Well.... I can start off saying the registration for the Top Gun Championships wen off very well. The venue at the Rio Rancho Inn was most excellent and the service was above par. Oh.. A nice pool too!

Oh I rememeber.. I was supposed to talk abot chhanging out an Aerostar (  RAVEN ) skirt to a scoop.

Yeah... I do not have those pictures done yet.. sorry.. serious lag on the picture thing. Too many... and lots more to do..... hold your panties! Im dumping 400 more raw files to the drive as we speak.. and they have to be processed too.

A day of Happy!

It was a day of happys.

Happy that it was a beautiful day.

Happy that my family is around me...                              Even if I cant see them..

Happy that I have the friends that I do....

Today friends are back in town... tomorrow we will go get him and his beautiful balloon is the air... Seasons will fly if the winds are good enough to do so. As if it was mine own I would never chance hurting her for a flight I can fly the next day. Or week... Its real nice.

So.. tomorrow we are out... fly... laugh.. land... get lots of pictures... laugh more... then pack up and get home cause tomorrow night is the registration for the Top Gun Championships... For the next three days after that it will be earlier than normal work day days with I really hope some naps in there.... cause its gonna be early.. did I say early?

We put a scoop on Seasons... A nice bright yellow one... so much nice yellow!  I had better tone down the shots tomorrow.. its unbelievably yellow... it has a RAVEN patch on it too.. as (She) It is in fact a RAVEN.  Thats a piece of Americana.... thats what I said too... Americana.. its real serious kick arse balloon history.
