2 feet.

Tucking the bill fold with the place mat money into my left lower pocket feels right. Standard pocket watch feels like it goes into my vest and the clip to the eyelet. Old money.. That rings in my head.. old money.. Who the freaken freak am I? I have an English lilt to my speech but its not what I think of as natural to me. I am in a very nice place, money..large.. two pocket watches.. clothes that feel like they were tailored for me exactly. So very strange and very very unsettling. A boat without an anchor. And this blue bottle end.. my hand wants to tuck it up my right sleeve... putting my fingers up the cuff there is a little pocket in there with elastic. Picking the lens up and it pops right into place. flinging my arm up and down does not dislodge it. Tucking two fingers up and it come right into my palm.. wooooo... Like a card sharp or....

Long Long day all compressed into a tiny tiny time. It was awesome on the fact that I enjoy shopping for stuff even if its not for me. I love watching peoples faces when you get them something they were not really expecting. I could be a shopper for the rich and famous. I did get what was needed at the best prices and on time. What a hoot. Granted my head felt like it was going to go boom...and I have to get all the recipts copied and filed and also get my purchases spread sheet updated. Right now its also awesome because its color coded and all the information I need is there and I can manipulate it.

After work I drove around in circles for an hour to find the local cable company's outlet to replace a bad modem and upgrade an old tv box. Very nice once I got there. I was in and out quickly even with chatting for a bit with the assistant. Good service. Sadly as soon as I got home from another stop and another store I found that the tv box I got was dead. That started a 30 minute call to the cable company to find out that.. yes... it is dead. So tomorrow I have to run out and take it back and get a replacement. Sigh. Right now though... I get to sit and rest and re-hydrate.. that was the other problem.. I got dehydrated again. I have to keep my water intake up. Lately its been rough. So now I am sitting here and getting ready to post some of the stuff I ran into today....

Address Labels! From the beginning of time. We are clearing out our office storage room.

Looking out the door to make sure there is a quick escape route.

Yes we invaded the Apple store. We put nose prints on all the screens and put hand prints on all the tablets.

Three of four unknown Droid and Windows users trying and failing miserably to blend in. Need a good hunting blind in here. The black bars are to protect the identity of the kinda-innocent.

The new Comcast / Xfinity store. Looks like a more comfy Verizon store. I like it and it was nice and easy.

And for the Techs out there... They will get this.....

Quite funny.

Onto the amazing and totally stunning links.. okay... maybe not that good.

Some things need to be slapped down.. and this is one..

PeePee

Resting my palm on it and it still seems quite warm with a fuzzy feeling to it. Billfold, Open it contains some nightly large denominations and its like  bleeping place mat. Huh? No identification. Only a couple of faded bits of card. No help there. Two pens, both fountain. One black with black ink and one blue with very nice blue ink. Oh.. that's nice..in one of the extra pockets there is a thick pocket watch. Very heavy. Gold chain of double loops to a locking tether. Very warm. Torn page from book, something that looks like a piece of blown glass shaped like a thick lens. It feels very comfortable in my palm and I don't want to stop looking at it. Tearing my eyes away from it as it seems to glow…. The feeling of calmness fades and putting it down and looking at it causes me no trouble and it looks insignificant. Which makes me wonder….

What can I say. Every day is different , every day something new. Spent this morning putting two circular picnic tables together with Hal. We only screwed up one thing on each table but quickly corrected it. Both are very nice and have seats that can rotate out so you don't have to step over the seat. They are made of recycled plastic with a lifetime guarantee. Very nice. After that it was a combination of paperwork, tracking, installing, charging and moving more stuff. Everything is going well on the upgrades and all the old stuff that isn't on the property lists will be sent to charity if possible. We are recycling cardboard and paper and what ever we can. We are as green as we can be right now. Not too bad.

I took some quick shots outside the office of the blooming trees… not that they are crazy but I hope we have no freezes now as they are going nuts with it all. Caught two bees with pollen laden legs too. The colors are striking. I shot most with the zoom all out to get a nice refocusing of the background. Very nice in fact. I will tone them to see how that comes out.. then I might even wide screen them to see how that looks for backgrounds and wallpaper. Here I go to do just that… be back in a jiffy… which is a real measurement.

Bumble Bees are happy.
 Lovely

A Bouquet.
 So crisp.

Red and Pink.
Red leaves with blue sky back.

Tendrils.
Sun on just one flower.

I think we have lost the beauty of Art in construction to the psychos with no vision. All glass and flat planes, no sweeping or curves except in the most ugly conditions. Sad. Beauty beneath New York.

On the line of being as green as you can.. we really should lock this down. Not a ban but a prohibited use and have company come up with a biodegradable plastic mix or put a return cost on them of a dime. That would get people cleaning up these things!

You have to dig farther down in the link but this is the jump off point for photos from the past f Greenwich.

I was having a conversation with our ITO about learning Spanish. This hit the tee after talking about it. We are going to start here soon.. Or he has started and I have to catch up when I get a breather here soon.

That is hilarious and will be me speaking Spanish… bank,,, Casa de peepee?

Apocalypse even if you had to pretend.

Clothes.... need clothes... Cold with only a bath towel wrapped around my waist. Peeking around the door to see if the maid is about.. no, gone, good. Padding out to the fire and looking around I spot the clothes laid out on the made bed. Time to see if anything fits. Mmm.. nice. Dark gray pin striped slacks with suspenders of black. Dove gray shirt, waist coat of dark silver and topcoat of black. Very nice! All fit like its made for me...perfectly for me. Normal pockets but two extras, one hidden.. huh. Socks feel almost silkish and shoes look almost new. Slight wear mark on the left toe. Walking back into the bathing room, bathroom and picking up my soiled clothes and walking back to the table against the window wall. Time to take stock of what I was carrying. Book....Warm still.....

Tech Geekeroonie! Never, never, never ask me what technology you can use. Because I will tell you as it seems. I will be able to justify anything and back it up. I need an intervention. With sufficient funds I would connect up my whole office to be able to video chat. I would love to set it up so that on the fly the forecasters could shoot out a three minute blurb on imminent weather coming in. Or some sort of weather danger. I also want to promote our abilities to help out the public. As much information we can so that they can be aware of the possible situations. It would be awesome. I have too many ideas.... Sorry to my boss and coworkers.

After I got home today and after I had the Cloudbouncer all set and emailed out I hit a few shots and toned them then wide scaled them. Nice old shots that still look good. Its possible I will find the time to do some more editing and also get some more pictures taken. I have two videos I have to do too but that will take a while. And the list is long of other things to do or finish. But hay.. keeps me out of trouble.

San Deigo
A little out of his location.

Looking Up.
Neck injuries are the most common ailment during Fiesta.

Lining up to Launch.
Waves of balloons is how they launch us. One ready to launch, One hot, one cold, one laid out and so on.

A tad windy.
Wind is okay if you are being pushed towards open space. High winds heading into congestion sucks hard.

HAH! Bzzz Bzzz Bzzz.
Thought it would be another balloon shot huh... Fooled you I did. Two Bees having lunch.

Rides Launching
If ya cant get in a private balloon this is the next best thing..along with ten or thirteen other "friends"

All fun.

Now to locate some links which is why I am such a sad techno geekeroonie.

Beautiful view. Interesting take.

On The Ground.

Actually this is getting a little old…. Okay, my fingers are pruning up. Time to get out. Shaped, lathered, washed, no shave needed for some odd reason. Standard goatee is nice and trim still. Whisking a towel around and I wonder where I learned that from. I seem to have a program for drying off with a towel. First hair and head and face. Then shoulders, then draping one end of the towel over my opposite shoulder, each arm, then chest and down then upper legs and then lower legs and feet. So very strange. I have flashbacks to being a child… in a bathroom more modern than this one and swinging a towel around in my hands to dry off and knocking all sorts of things off the toilet lid, Ah… and a spank. Okay.. perhaps that's where the ritual comes from. Huh. Are these my memories? What little I have seem to me to be little pieces f a puzzle out in the middle of a huge floor. None snap together yet.

No time…. No time!! Busy day. Many small things that if you set them down seem easy to deal with but that they come in twos and threes makes for a hectic day. I did get out for a bit which was nice. But as soon as I came back in its nuts again. Well it was fun. It was different. I liked it. I have much more to do tomorrow. My drive is to get a spreadsheet done with purchases and all the data that has to be included in it so that it covers everything. I had a log but it was getting a bit messy. The spreadsheet is much more organized. I should be able to finish it up tomorrow. Then run some numbers.

I spent most of this evening working on the CB. Information comes in in bits and spurts and I have to add things here and there. No fixed place yet because I have had no time to set up the new system. Each page would be a separate entity with specific locations for each thing. Soon though. I did Some of the funny stuff.. not so funny stuff and outtakes.. Plus I goofed off with my phone camera for more shots for Facebook. After I tweak those I will use them for that and other things. We have a big Giant head thing going too. I dunno if we are going to make the mixer tonight. Stomach is in a very bad way. Ugh! Here they are…Plus

Photoshop Funny.

This is a tear in my balloon Patturns In The Sky. It got hooked up on a chain link fence. Tears everywhere.
 One good repair station later...

Back in the air.. Granted this is it coming down. Big hole in the top! Hah! Crown.

Inside of 2nd Kiss. Pretty.

Inside of Kisses Of Fire. Very pretty.

This is a toughy. This is my new racer. I burned 8 panels on it on launch. Not that it stopped it from flying just fine. About a thousand dollars later, great support from Lindstrand USA and Aerco for the sewing it was good as new. Whew!

Me, laying down on the job. I was resting!!!

And L-i-n-k-s

Other than the links to meat and produce this would work fine. I like to squeeze things and meat… well…

Since I love photographs and this is Disneyland... had to…

Nice.. Tunnels… I can go spelunking in these without getting to stressed out about being trapped.

More information you might not have known. I knew most of it… you try…

And off to find some pepto bizmal.

Pizzazz!

Considering I don't know exactly where I am. I don't know if those who are chasing me will find me. I don't know whose hotel room this is, and whose clothes I will don in a while... Nope.. not stopping me from shucking off this black wool long coat and white shirt, and black slacks, one slightly muddy knee, black shoes and black dress socks.. gray cotton boxers, that's novel. Slipping a foot in after shutting off the taps and easing in slowly, I may just pass out again with the rush of heated blood through my system. Easing the remainder of my sore self in is heaven! submerged up to my neck and leaning back with eyes closed.. yes.. Ill just stay here for a week... two weeks. Head goes under in a splash!

Very early morning today. Got in early to set some equipment up. It looks okay. I have to get used to having my monitors closer to my face instead of three inches back. Dunno if getting a different style will help. Ill try it for a while and see. I did get a printer so I can do docs without having to run to the mail room for every copy. Since I am doing travel docs it means back and forth wasting lots of time. Also I have to do privacy filled documents and that is really tough to hit print and then run to the copier. Other than that I could not get certificates due to no calls back and no help from the person who was supposed to be there to give assistance. Oh well. Tomorrow is another day.

I have a bunch of polars I did last night. I tweaked and twisted and changed things to see what looked best... Ill show you in a moment. The day was one huge sigh. After getting off work I had about 30 miles till I was empty in my truck tank. And I had to go from the South East corner to the North West corner of Albuquerque. I made it. Even when my truck says I am empty there is two gallons left in the tank. I like that. I did get fuel and filled up my two 2.5 gal tanks so I can get my fan tank filled and my emergency tank. Then over and purchased a few things. Home was Izzy jumping up and down and then leading me to the computer room where she jumps up on my chair so I can give her a good scratch. She is such a sweety. Just unconditional happy doggie. She got a treat then we sat down so she could sit on my lap and work on the computer.

Here are my edits...

Regular neon sign.
Squared.

 Stretch polar.
 A bit too much....

Neon Bumper.
Shortened, added white accents, polared and healed.

Keyholed.
Its on its side because it will be mounted on the point. Go with it.

Badging Punkish.
Again it should be on point. Turned out great and its my favorite for the night.

Heiny!
 Polared and sampled then bled.

Polared, sampled and filled.

Polared sampled red of the star and filled.

So many ways to go about this. Everyone has their own way. I have an idea for a more interesting setting but no time right now to work with it.

Here are some links... I wished El Putino would read these and stop with the flexing of those strangely skinny arms of his.

This is so cute. I could almost do this on my back porch. Its 24 feet by 14 feet. I could build a nice studio there if I had a mind. It would beat the weight of a container. Not that I have given that up.

Pizza Hut. I'm old enough to remember when they started appearing. That's the problem with a specific design. Hard to sell hard to change.

The rush to slow down.

Well that's a heck of a noise. Rushing water sounds and billowing steam roll out of the door and right behind that is that little angle. Hot water! Oh very nice. I was not looking forward to a cold bath. Yikes. Slapping her hands together and smiling while blowing a wisp of hair from her eyes.  She slightly bows, "Your bath awaits good sir." I laugh "Well that is a surprise but I will be short of clean clothes after". Her hand flies to her lips covering a slight gasp, "I am so sorry, I will get your clothes out of the wardrobe and lay them out for  you. Then I will rush off to help in the kitchen". Sketching her a little bow, one hand in front and gentlemanly...or as close as.. hah! A bath! Closing the door behind me with a healthy click I am attacked by the hot steam!

Another day to compose myself, another day to rest the bones, and another day forward. Does it seem like I am rushing things? ( Zero 7 - Look up is playing ) I might be. I have plans and they all lay on the year passing without being dealt any back blows. It might be possible. I mean if you discount things like blown tires and dead water heaters and stuck pipes and replacing engines and all ... well... Move forward until that point is reached then act on that and slow down. Stand differently. Adjust for a less hurried pace. So prep, align and be ready to shift into gear...LOL.

Working on the CB and going through pictures. I have so many from the last rally that I had to pick a mix. I missed a lot of things but That's the way it goes. Most of it is done. I am missing a few other things but that's normal too. Below are a few that will be in it. I will explain why and why I shot each one the way I did.

Over head
Using the rule of thirds. Filled the frame which shows detail and makes if feel right in touching distance.

 Line up in wind 350.
Trying to get a stack of balloons like this is next to impossible. Right place, right time, straight wind.

 Streaming.
I had to lay on the wet grass to get this. Well worth the angle. Flow. Right to left.

Stable Colours.
Rule of thirds and also weighted. Looks great where putting it in the middle would feel to contrived.

 Walking wires.
Weighted to direction of travel. Front action and back action. Not harsh on the eyes.

A little heart.
Break the rules. Centered because the basket is rectangular it works. Know when to throw out the rules.

My little post for the day on keeping pictures un boring.

Sites.. Sunday and slim.

Prize.

"Sir?"..."Sir!" Being nudged awake is not the best feeling when you cant remember where you are. I expect assassins or the bent nose guys don't say sir in a sweet contralto voice. Cracking my eyes open shows us the red head has returned. "Sir, you fell asleep and wouldn't answer my knock, I was worried and entered, are you well?" I get out through gummy lips "Yes, thanks! Just tired." Stepping back a few feet she looks relieved. Did she think I was dead? Must have, the color is coming into her cheeks. " If you are well then I will just clean up this table and remove it. Pausing and then continuing, "We have the new in house plumbing service sir. In the bathing room. Its just through that door to the left of the bed. Its quite amazing." When was the last time I had a bath? Heck if I know, and with all the damage I've been running to and from I probably smell just wonderful.  I look up at her and see her sparkling eyes as she excitedly tells me " I can run a bath for you if you like, I've been shown how to go about it?" Who can say no to suck a cute water nymph.... not I! Hah... Like I have the strength.... "Please do I can barely get out before she quickly turns and rushes into the aforementioned "bath room". Massive Clanking can be heard!

Saturday!! SATURDAY!!! SATURRRDAY!!! Right here right now. Only the first 100 people will receive the grand prize of having the opportunity to go shopping for me! Yay!!! Wonderful news.

I did do the laundry so that's not getting to be a reward.. oh well... next time. I need a few things... Here is a list. TP, Milk, Coffee, Cheese and Strength. Now you respond by saying something with five words in it. Right, right. Spent the day mostly editing and processing pictures for printing. Guess what. I was able to get five shots edited and off to the printers. Now hopefully they will come back looking fantastic. I have my fingers crossed. It was a bugger to figure a way to do it. Then I messed around with some other shots just because they were there. Illl post those below.

I was surfing the net also today and found some pretty good things. I will post those first. Funny, thoughtful, crazy, weird.... check em out too.

Not my Dad but hay... I have had some very strange requests....

What can I say. If I could work from my house there might be months that I would never leave it.

And since where I live most drivers are numb from the neck up......they wouldn't get this.

Lists are a favorite of mine. There is a list sitting on my desk waiting for me on Monday of things to do. I like lists.

Hardie.
Edit of a street sign. Quite nicely it came out.

Wicket~
My favorite shot of the day, polerized cause I can.

Norge.
 What is it?

Cleanliness.
Love the background but I have to sharpen the chrome.

Here is another list:

Very impressive.. but that's because I like lights.
