Low cost used car salespeople with their families who look like someone removed their brains, on television. Its time to shut it out. I am all the better without it. Sad that walking around the house you get this stuff forced into your ear canals. Just say no. Just say stop..click the remote.

Its enough to know I don't know a lot but to have this bile forced on you daily. Off I go to read a book! Woah.. a book! Wanted to see if I could get the scratches buffed out of my truck but the guy who needed to look at it was not there today. Even after I called to make sure... he was gone. So what does that tell me about getting the scratches buffed out. Not good. I will call another person I should have called in the first place. Blah!

I did get some more shots run through the colorization mill. All grist. All interesting. Many I have to come back to because they are too complicated to do now. I have come to find out that doing balloons is probably the easiest thing to run through. I think that if I am going to really do this, other than a basic folio of test shots all of them will need to be repainted. Well most. I was in a hurry... Dont taze me Bro!

I am looking for single source shots. Single possible subject to run. Sometimes its a sign... sometimes its the sky. Ya never know what subtle thing I will find. If you have some that you think you might want to have modified send them to me. Not too many though. Perhaps tell me what you think should be colorized.

Hedgehogs! Hedgehogs are the cuddly side of the rabbit family. Prickly at times but mostly you get the cute eyes and the little snuffling nose but when you least expect it.. poke! Well If rabbits can deal with their steadfast friends then so can the mice. The moose on the other hand are still the haughty and snarkey part of the family. With their antler size its hard to get down the burrows.. then they are swinging around all the time and getting in the way of the overhead lights. But we still love them. Perhaps we will leave the hedgehog alone for a bit but will ring the bell in a few days and make sure they haven't stuck their toe in the bathtub spigot and are stuck....again. Penguins now are another thing completely. I mean if you like the smell of herring in your sheets all the time... well, all good for you then.

It should not be this difficult. Not hard. Difficult..as in lets put roadblocks in your way.. woah! there's a banana peel… “what? You having problems with that?” Oh.. watch out, brick wall!

Plus there is my one pet peeve. Can I not get two minutes strung together to get something done. Longer than that but you get the idea. I can't say I have it real bad, and yes it could be infinitely worse. Maybe I just need to de-invest my feelings and not take it so personal.

Oh a brighter side I am running through my other photographs to see if something catches my eye to process using the B&W and colorization. Yep I found some that are worth it. Yes they are not balloons… I am a little burned out for the moment on balloons. So check these out.

Ive been hit! By the Fiesta bug! Ugh!

Oh my aching head. I thought I was going to get past it with out getting infected. Not happening. Looks like with all the friendliness on the Fiesta field a virii got loose. Most everyone has gotten part of it. Now I have a little bit to play with too. So here I sit head in hand.. Okay.. head tilted hands on keyboard. Heads banging and stomach is around 6700 feet and descending.

Due to the above all the best laid plans have been put on hold. I have work to do at work so I can not think about taking any time off yet. Lets see how Monday goes.

While sitting here in misery I did go through the shots and separate and process some individual or small group shots...of people this time. Three in for free. Plus some more. I will post some others to facebook later. This process even looks good when you just do people.

Chilly Saturdays

Got a chill and and its chilly outside. I really wanted to go out and buff out all the scratches on my truck, remove the broken stepsides and wash and clean the basket but I am not up for it nor is it warm enough to do it all. Hoping tomorrow will be better. Both feeling better and warmer kinda better.

I did replace the windshield wipers on the Honda and did a few things around the house and I may go clean the closet out soon... well probably. But I did go in and do some more colorization of some shots. I looked for single item shots and went with that. They did turn out quite well I think. I am getting eye strain so I decided to stop and write up my blog then rest my eyes.

Wondering what the next wheel to come off will be.

A day with headaches internal and external. Don't get me started on insurance companies and their inability to get things done on time. No not health. Though that will be its own migraine very soon.

I looked for tutorials on how to edit black and white shots and selectively colorize them. I found a few but they all didn't quite tell the whole story. So I started poking and adjusting and testing until I came up with my own ..down and dirty way of doing it. Its pretty good but the eye strain is gonna be a bugger.

I have done a few this evening and they are below. I expect I really need to zoom in more and get better with filling in but these are a test. Pretty flippin cool. No choices on the selection. I just grabbed what I thought would be good quickly and went to work.

What is killing me is as I went through all my shots looking for photographs that I could polarize now I will be going back for shots I can colorize and also wide shots too. Somewhere in here I have to upload what I have then also go out and shoot some more… oh.. and I have yet to get new to printing any… yikes!

Well it looks as if the wheels come off and they are chasing it down the road. I am not sure why its taking so long to spin back up. All the codes and such should have been ready prior to the 1st. What.. you forget your password while on furlough? Please. I would like to get things going before you hit me with arbitrary deadlines that I cant meet because I did not have the information. So sorry! Its all been piling up and the due bill is gonna be a bugger.

Me. I have had contractors in the office. Tomorrow again. Then setting up for more contractors at the radar site at the end of the month. These are things I can do right now.

Other than that stuff the new Windows 8.1 download processed. It is nice so far and I do like how I can change the tile sizes but dang it all I want to change the color and size of every darn tile, not just some. What’s up with that? Who thought up that silly limitation. Gurgle! Well I am going to be tweaking it a lot I expect. Oh also there were some "bugs" in it. Had to do another update to get the external display working. Hopefully that is all I run into.
