Ignore the nuts who are saying the video is bad. Its not. It very moving. Sia said it was her bipolar sides waging war on each other and I can see that but I can also hear it as a fight between wants and needs and the pain that comes with wanting something you cant have ... or something like that.
It stands alone as a song lyrically and musically without the odd video. Sia is hit or miss with me. She has a good voice but I cant stand the mumbly meanderings she goes through some times. I don't know if its because she wants to or is made to per what her followers what to hear... Along with Tina Dico.... Amazing voice sometimes and then your left scratching your head.
The line...somewhat.... if you listen is "I've got thick skin and an elastic heart......I'm like a rubber band until you pull too hard... and I may snap....". Great lyrics.... This song hits home in ways.
I bought the whole album.... Sia - 1000 forms of fear. Worth the money.
Oh.. I plan of continuing on the story that was at the bottom of my blog... Its very hard to write a paragraph at a time and keep it interesting every time... and I never write down where its going.. its always coming out as I write it. Good exercise. Hard to do.
On the photography side of things I am still working on getting home to shoot my brains out but am waiting for that perfect time. With everything going on in the world right now I have to keep nudging back the time. Soon. Taking pictures isn't .. oh hay..Ill shoot this tree, wall, mountain... its been done.. if I cant find a direct novel way to shoot it I ain't shooting it.
I have been playing with doing edits for my cell phone wallpaper. Its fun. I can do it relatively quickly, now that I have the template down. I like keeping it dark so black backgrounds. I may have to play with that though... Its a layer effect. So many things to want to do but training is limited to teaching myself. Ugh.... that leads me to this.
I hate Linux/ Unix. I know it but I hate it so I have to think about it when I am working with it as a language / commands. Its useless to me as I am not building databases and such and its so clunky to use like windows or IOS. It falls to this in category... ease of use and little modification - IOS, Ease of use and a lot of modification - Windows, then pain in use and massive manipulation - Unix / Linux Yeah.. sigh....
That's enough of that today.. Below you can see what I did for cell phone wallpaper and what I am trying to get at... black borders, bright frame, black then picture so it stand out but isn't causing it to be hard to see your screen... enjoy.
